Been on the wish list for a while on the back of some overwhelmingly positive reviews on Zomato. Happens to be in the same spot where Rassa once existed, the entrance is loud enough to take notice. The place itself is small, but they've done a decent job with the interiors giving enough room for diversity with a few 2 seaters to accommodate couples, a few 4 seaters & a 6 & 8 seater each to accommodate larger groups.
Service: Top notch. Some may find this a bit intrusive, but we were intrigued to see the passion with which these guys were running the show, eager to descriptively paint out the entire dish before us at the time of ordering. The orders did take a while before making an appearance on our table, maybe they took just that bit of an extra care before showcasing their masterpieces. Might be a better idea to express your choice of spice-level you prefer in your food & let them recommend & describe the order for you.
Food: Not for the faint hearted who can't handle that extra dollop of cheese, most of their preparations seem to be overloaded with cheese. Did get slightly monotonous after a point of time though. Full marks for the plating. Surely taken great pains in ensuring the presentation & display doesn't go unnoticed. True to their name, Innovation & experimentation is one aspect they've clearly relied on, good to know they plan to come up with & surprise their patrons with a new dish every now & then. Chicken Paprika turned out to the only highlight for me. The nachos were decent as well. Would've liked to have a few more chunks of meat sprinkled in though. Pleasantly surprised with the twist of having spinach based nachos. Apparently they even plan to introduce beetroot based nachos for variety. The salsa didn't make the cut though. Devoid of the slight tanginess you'd generally associate it with to complement the nachos. Slightly disappointed when the much talked about Joojeh Kebab. Slightly too bland for my liking, that's how it's supposed to be apparently, being marinated in saffron, didn't really earn my applause in the taste department. Same was the case with the Pollo Ala Huancaina. Nothing worth writing home about. With just about enough room for a dessert we ventured into the unknown.. The flower pot surprise. Won't play a spoiler here, experience it for yourself. Just a word of advice.. Order as a couple & have enough space left in your tummy to dig it all up
Our order: Chicken Tikka Nachos... Innovative Joojeh Kebab.... Disappointing Pollo Ala Huancaina... Hum ho! Chicken Paprika... Recommended Flower Pot Surprise... A nice surprise Old Greek Nachos... Yum! Chinese Chicken...
Read moreA gem of a place to have delicious food and have a great time with friends. Their menu provides a lot of options for Vegetarians as well as Non-Vegetarians. It is always a bit crowded owing to the hype that this place has generated due to the high standards it has set. Their service is great and food comes to your table pretty quickly. They don't shy away from suggesting what would be nice to have. We had a lot of things to fill our stomach. Here it goes..😋 Wildly Cheesy Fries - Fries were crispy and the dressing was creamy and complemented the fries pretty well. It was a little spicy and hot. The perfect dish to start this epic devouring session..🤤 Over Laden Nachos - Spinach flavoured vibrant green coloured Nachos which was crispy and had a nice crunch to it. It was topped nicely with baked beans, olives, bell peppers & cheese. It was served with a side of Salsa. Sriracha Cottage Cheese - A spicy dish which satisfied our taste buds, but the quantity left us wanting for more. Paneer was soft & fresh. BBQ Chicken Wings - Delicious chicken wings which was tender and juicy. It was a little sweet due to the BBQ sauce. Fishy Fingers - Crispy coating covering delicate pieces of Basa fish. Tasted good and the Tartare sauce complemented the fish perfectly. Chinese Sizzler (Chilly Paneer) - All their sizzlers have a bit of customization possible. We opted for Hakka fried rice instead of noodles. It came with Schezwan fries. This was our least favourite Sizzler out of the 3 which we had. Mushroom Black Pepper Sizzler (Grilled Chicken) - Grilled chicken breast was as good as it gets with creamy mashed potatoes, and fries & assorted veggies. No complaints here. Shashlik Sizzler (Paneer) - Probably the best sizzler in the house. The taste of the different components in this Sizzler goes well with each other. Paneer Shashlik was absolutely delicious and delivered value for money on it's own. Corn & cheese was creamy and tasted nice..😍 Peach Ice Tea & Strawberry Ice Tea - A nice drink to help gulp down the large portion of food which you are bound to have here. Blueberry Cheesecake - Smooth & creamy texture which melted in our mouth. The taste of blueberry was not overwhelming. Highly recommended for those who love cheese cakes. Sizzling Brownie - What is not to like in a dish which has brownie, vanilla ice cream, hot chocolate, makes a sizzling sound and tastes like heaven?!! We had to labour ourselves to finish this after having so much food, but our sweet tooth kept us...
