The Belgian Waffle Co. — Restaurant in Mumbai

Really really bad experience. We enter the belgian waffle house and seat on the table. We show offer menu. I have attached offer menu below. According to offer we ordered 3 waffles and it fulfills one offer that order above 490 rupees and you will get one complimentary waffle. And guess what we ordered waffles and they immediately give us bill. We check the bill and don't found any free waffle name. So we asked waffle guy that according this offer we should get one free waffle.

Read Carefully :

He replied that " bill ban chuka hai wo kuch nahi kar sakata" we show him the offer template.

He replied: muje yad nahi tha or phir bola aapko btana chahiye k offer hai.

Matlab kuch bhi. Belgian waffles mai offer chal rahi hai or bill bnane wale to pata nhi k offer hai aur customers se bolta hai aapko btana chahiye k offer hai. Matalab disgusting.

After listning all this we said we talk to your manager and this is really horrible experience.

His manager said " offer kal khatam ho gya" galti se laga hai yaha.

Wait there is more.

Guess what that billing guy before calling his manager told us that " offer aaj chalu nahi hua , kal hone wala hai"

Are you for real?

After knowing this fraud. We said cancel our order. They denied thay did not cancel our order. So we ask them to add ice cream in waffle as they are not giving us our complimentary waffle. They still denied.

Isse acha to mumbai k street food provider hai. Jo complimentary 'gol gappe' dete hai.

It's not ALL ABOUT FREE WAFFLE, ITS ABOUT YOU GUYS DOESN'T VALUE YOUR...

If you want to go and see a perfect example of how not to behave with customer then you should visit this place. We went to this place at 11.45 PM. I understand that this is a bit late and they might not have much stock left. We took 5 minutes to decide what to order and when I went for order the sales guy said that for take away order you will have to wait outside. When I asked why is that he did not say anything. Note that there were couple of families sitting there and eating. And there was seating available. Stil this sales guy said you will have to wait outside.

If you don't want to sell waffle to customers then you should stick board on shop that if you are ordering takeaway then you dont have any right to stand inside shop. Then don't even accept the takeaway order inside shop.

I'll admit it, as someone who knows how easy pancakes can be made at home, I do think waffles are overpriced just cause the machinery used is different. Also you don't get a whole waffle you get two quarters OR half a waffle.

That being said, this place has offers constantly so you're bound to get more than what's there on the menu. Their menu is diverse in terms of offering more than just waffles, so again you can experiment a around a lot. They also have a waffle of the day which is at subsidised costs so, again all the more reason to go explore.

This particular outlet is small but cosy. Has enough chairs to maybe house 6-8 people inside but preferably takeaway or ordering home should be better as it can get crowded fast. It's usually open till about 12...
