Tried out The Palate, a newly opened restaurant in Sion Koliwada, and I have to say, it was a really good experience from start to finish. The place itself has a very welcoming vibe. The interiors are done nicely — not over the top, but warm and stylish enough to make you want to sit back and enjoy your meal. It’s the kind of ambience that works equally well if you’re out with friends or with family. The service here was another highlight. The staff were polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They didn’t just take orders; they actually suggested combinations and made sure everything reached the table hot and fresh. That level of care makes a big difference when you’re dining out. Plus, there’s a nice bonus — if you pre-book through Zomato’s District, you get some great discounts. Considering the quality of food, it definitely feels like good value for money. Now, about the food. Honestly, it was the best part of the evening. I went for the Manchurian gravy with fried rice, and it was spot on. Perfectly spiced, rich in flavor, and comforting in that familiar Indo-Chinese way that you can never get enough of. I’d give it a solid 10/10. I also tried the veg biryani, and it was another winner. The rice was aromatic, the veggies were well-cooked, and the spices blended beautifully without being overpowering. A lot of places don’t get vegetarian biryani right, but The Palate nailed it — again, a 10/10 dish for me. Overall, The Palate surprised me in the best way. For a new restaurant, they seem to have figured out the right mix of good food, great ambience, and excellent service. It feels like the kind of place that’s only going to get more popular as word spreads. If you’re in or around Sion Koliwada and looking for a spot that serves both biryani and Chinese that actually deliver on taste, this is one restaurant you shouldn’t miss.

Dining at 'The Palate', 'The Art Of Dining ' was a beautiful experience. Located at 'Sion Koliwada', it is well connected to the city transport. The look of the restaurant, itself, is so exciting, that we are compelled to explore more about it. Warmly welcomed by the respectful staff, seated comfortably, just couldn't help, but admire it's clean & attractive interiors. It has a 'Full Bar', 'Private Dining Room' & a 'Party Venue' on the first floor, with a capacity to accommodate '20-25' people. On the ground floor of the restaurant, any ceremony or function can be held, which can accommodate about 35 people. One can choose to have 'Ala Carte' or ' Buffet'.There is a 'Sports Bar' too. Proceeding to check the food, we had : Cocktails 1. Carabean Girl 2. Gimlet : Loved it, for it gave a good head-spin as well as it tasted good. Starters which came with salad : 1. Bombil Koliwada 2. Chicken Gellapi Kebab 3 Chicken Lemon Kebab Followed by : Main Course : 'Butter Roti' with 'Surmai Malwani' Unforgettable delicious food, we finished with, yummy dessert : Triple Sunday - having 3 dollops each of 'Butterscotch', 'Strawberry' & 'Vanilla'. The food & drinks are beautifully presented, The staff is well behaving, attentive & giving good service. What more ! One drink is offered free over 2 drinks of any type like 'Hard drinks, 'Cocktails' & many more. A perfect place to enjoy with 'Family', 'Friends or even for a 'Romantic Date'.

We visited this restaurant in Sion GTB Nagar and wanted to share my experience. Firstly, they offer parking for two-wheelers, but it's uncertain for four-wheelers. The food here was quite impressive; we ordered a range of items including Manchow soups, cocktails, mocktails, starters, and sizzlers. The non-veg options, in particular, stood out with their delicious flavors. The ambiance added to the overall enjoyment of the meal, making it a great choice for dining out with friends or family. However, there was one drawback - the wait for our veg dishes was nearly half an hour, which was disappointing. Despite the wait, I would still recommend this place for its tasty food and pleasant ambiance. Just be prepared for potential delays. All in all, it was a positive dining experience.
