Maratha Excellency — Restaurant in Mumbai

It is one of the cheapest option around this area, food used to be decent here but on this 23rd sep 2018, they served me stale food, when I asked the waiter, he simply says "its masalas, nothing else it gets cooked like this only" I told him that I know how masalas taste ans dont try to fool me, I observed there were quite a few others as well who complained but the management were forcing it on customers by saying that the customers dont know the taste and the food was absolutely fine. I leave it to the restaurant on how they want to run their business but understand the customers, they have been eating these kinds of food for ages and now when they complain to you, you simply write off by saying it is cooked this way only. Their service is really bad. Today, I ordered Veg Crispy, but it didn't even resemble Veg Crispy. Last time we ordered, it was great, but this time they just threw together some cabbage and flour mixture, fried it, and served it. I also specifically asked them to add extra vegetables to the Veg Fried Rice and use less oil, but they didn't care. Since it was a parcel, they didn't bother to ensure quality, knowing the customer wouldn't complain in person. When we opened it at home, it was literally a waste of money - inedible. The whole food went to waste. I'd rather spend 20 rupees on a vada pav, which is better than this. Never ordering...

I regret to share my disappointment regarding my recent visit at the hotel. The food and services fell short of expectations, particularly due to the consistent use of ready-made masalas in the preparation of dishes. This resulted in all the sabjis having a tasteless quality, with a strikingly similar flavor for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
