Burger King — Restaurant in Nagpur

I am a visitor from the UAE, currently in India to see my brother-in-law, and I wish to bring to your attention a very unpleasant experience I had at one of your Burger King outlets.

Between 8–9 PM, I placed an order consisting of one veg burger meal combo (takeaway) and one chicken burger meal combo (dine-in). Since my card was showing an error during payment, I opted to pay in cash. While placing the order, I clearly informed the cashier to process one order as takeaway and the other as dine-in. The cashier assured me that he would “settle it properly.” However, instead of doing so, he got distracted, engaging in casual conversation with his colleagues.

When the order was served, I noticed that both meals were being provided as dine-in. I raised my concern and reminded the staff twice—firmly and loudly—yet they continued to ignore the request. Eventually, another staff member conveyed through a colleague that the soft drink in the meal could not be provided as takeaway. Along with me another guy was there who already ordered the takeaway and these people provided him to dine.

This lack of attentiveness, accountability, and customer care was highly disappointing. Having traveled across several countries due to my work, I have rarely encountered such unprofessional behaviour at an international fast-food chain.

Burger King must prioritize building a customer-first culture where staff are trained to act with courtesy, accountability, and professionalism at all times. Respecting customers, ensuring order accuracy, and resolving issues proactively should be central to service delivery. I recently visited Burger King located at VR Mall Nagpur and had a generally satisfying experience. Here's what I liked and disliked:

Pros: Friendly Staff: The service was prompt and courteous, with attentive staff ensuring our needs were met. Local Twists: Innovative menu options like the Chicken Tandoor Sandwich and Veggie Whopper catered well to local tastes. Clean Ambiance: The restaurant was well-maintained and clean, making for a comfortable dining experience.

Cons: Limited Menu Options for Veg: Compared to Non veg options limited options was available in Burger King outlets, the Indian menu felt a bit limited. Slow Service During Peak Hours: Our visit coincided with a busy dinner hour, and service was slower than expected. No Major Surprises: While the food was good, it didn't exceed expectations or offer anything particularly new or exciting. Missing VFM: Combo was okay but when you ordered particular items Value for Money was missed.

Overall: Burger King in Nagpur is a solid choice for a quick, satisfying meal. While it doesn't particularly stand out from other fast-food chains, it's a reliable option with some tasty local twists. With a bit more menu innovation and streamlined service during peak hours, it could easily become a top choice.

On 21st july 2023. i ordered a burger and taco, but the girl was just telling about the offers. i asked for the burger and taco for three times, but she just continued talking about the offers. i dont want any offers and combo. i just wanted my order. it must be the company policy, but then she asked for my phone to do something with the links. she gave a 5star rating with my phone . like iam dumb, and i dont understand anything. it is our choice to give star or not. and the burger and taco were really cold. reaklly bad taste. i am not going to burgerking again in my life. if someone is reading this please dont go there. money waste and time waste. the burgers were already ready. like they didnt even cooked it. it was already wrapped in paper. and they gave like that only. really bad experience. they are giving old food to people. im telling my friends not to go there even if they are starving to death....
