Durva Restaurant (pure veg) — Restaurant in Nagpur

We Visited this restaurant on 15 August, when we went there it was not busy, but soon customers started coming and then there was people standing outside waiting.

Here we order our food.

The waiter put food on our table and ask us to serve ourself, this is fine dining restaurant. Not only that he gave us bowls and ask to serve dal to ourselves, one of the bowl was broken and was not clean, I asked 2-3 waiter to please replace it. Nobody listen, then i went to station myself to get another one. We kept asking for salt and we did not get it.

We had Veg Kabab for starter and dish he brought to serve it was still there even after we finished our dinner.

I can understand the Panic restaurant goes trhough during rush hour and specially on such occasion.

But we are there, paying that much for expericne, otherwise what is the difference between this restaurant and Road side Dhaba (Minus the service)?

Staff here needs urgent training to maintain their cool and remain professional regardless how much the crowd is there.

I had heard a lot about Durva for its pure veg budget friendly and scrumptious delicacies so finally decided to give it a try. We got to know that they have reinvented their menu with alot of good stuff however, at the time of ordering near about half of the newly introduced items were not available with the reason given by waiters that particular chef is not at service. Keeping that aside food was good quality and taste wise. Waiting time is not much. The ambience is descent and present. Although the most concerning thing is the attitude of waiters towards customers, they are inattentive and ignorant at times. The most bothering thing about Durva is the dirty washroom that was terribly nasty that we can't even do our business there. When complained to the manager he just ignored to what we said. Now with these attitude of hotel staff I have to rethink for visiting the second time.

Came here for the first time and experience is not at all good.

The restaurant is very dirty, floor is sticky, could see through the kitchen door and definitely not in a good condition. Family friendly but too much noisy(music). Very slow with main course. Right from the entrance the floor was dirty/wet and slippery & sticky. Staff is arrogant. Literally asked me to serve while he was already serving on our table.

Owner/manager kept arguing and kept saying it is customers who keep making it a dirty place. Did not accept any of their mistakes. He also explained me the review system and why people write such reviews😂
