Clearly considered as the best Biriyani served in Nagpur! We had ordered Mutton and Chicken Biriyani along with Chicken Afgani. The restaurant is adequately maintained and the AC section is clean. About food: The portions were good. The chicken Afgani was excellent. Now the tricky part, the Biriyani. Well, our group is a 'Biriyani Bhakt' and we pay homage to all places famous for Biriyani... Be Thalassery from Kerala, Bohri from Gujarat, Hyderabadi from Andhra or Lucknowi from Lucknow or Kolkata! This Biriyani (mutton strictly) clearly cannot feature in the 'legendary' list... Having said that it is not to be missed either in Nagpur. The taste is a cross between Lucknowi and Hyderabadi. The rice or pilaf is fragrant, light, fluffy and saffron coloured typical to Lucknowi style of cooking... however the muttons in it are small pieces which is a particular style across south. The mutton is heavily marinated with spices which draws its influence from Hyderabad... So what you have is a cross among all!! At the end, I would have missed a flavour had I not visited the joint but having visited it once, not sure if I will keep coming...

Whenever you go to Nagpur, you roam there and you have to eat non-veg there, then you should go to this hotel. I came to know about this hotel from my relatives. If you go here, you will see a long wait outside the hotel. Before going here, make your booking reservation in advance and transfer payment online. Here you will find many different menus of non-veg. I really liked Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Biryani here. I tried these two non veg items here first time. And now whenever I go here, I definitely come here and try something. There is a seating arrangement for G+1. hot food is always available, ac always cool here . After eating, we came out , we saw the metro, then we took a selfie with that metro from outside the Hotel Al Zam Zam photo i am posting.
