Went for a Sunday brunch (17th APR 2022) with family based on solid previous experience. The price, service and food quality was top notch a couple of years back ( 2018, 2019). But this time around there were many complaints:
Tried calling in the restaurant for a reservation from 11:30 am ( 5 calls in total), never went through, which was a surprise. You don't expect this in a "5*" hotel. The pricing for the sunday 5 course brunch was not clear, one server said my 4 year old daughter would be charged 799, but when we enquired further, it was made free. Communication should be better The food was just above average. The issues we faced: lots of oil in every dish marination was similar if not same Two of my family members don't eat spicy food. When the brunch was being prepared, we requested for non spicy starters. We told them 3+ times, but till the end never received our non spicy starters In the main course it was the other way around, they assumed we had turned non spicy and the food was not spicy at all. Till that time we were just tired to ask for anything specific as we knew it wouldn't be looked into For 2.5k+ tax per person the service was sub standard (check point 3,4,5). The service was very slow and the time between each dish was far too much ( even considering it was brunch) Lack of any complimentary drinks for the charge of 2.5k + tax per person. That was a bummer. The starter and main course.dishes did not have any diffrentiaiton, all seemed to part of a big pot, one with gravy (main course) and the other dry In all you can eat set menu, the prawn dimsums got over!! If the charge is this high, more care should be taken in the panning and inventory The dimsum skin was pasty and lacked any "chew"

It was my birthday dinner ( so very special ) & hence I called and reserved a table 3 hours prior to avoid any inconvenience, as soon as we arrived the restaurant we were asked to wait good 10 mins while the two clueless staff there tried to discuss something.
As soon as we were placed on table, a lot of confusion with who will take our order,
With only two people from the waiters, lots of full tables, it was utter chaos and disappointment , the waiter was absolutely clueless , surely not the hospitality we expect from this reputed chain of hotels.
The bill took good 20 mins to arrive and then I lost my patience & stood near gate to leave, 10 mins later bill arrived and 10 mins later the change !
I mean wow ! Surely not what I was expecting, the restaurant should stay shut if they don’t have staff but please don’t spoil our special meals.
The prices are very heavy on pocket and from such a fine dine place, we expect some luxury, if not much, no one served us jasmine tea or water , we had to repeatedly ask for it.
It’s high time they improve because we surely aren’t going to pay such a hefty bill for this...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to dine at Ni Hao restaurant located within the Radisson Blu Nagpur, and I must say, my experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, I was excited to enjoy some authentic cuisine, but unfortunately, the first red flag was the quality of the food served. Many of the dishes were overcooked, which not only affected the flavor but also the overall dining experience. Everything felt lackluster and not up to the standards one would expect from a reputed establishment. Moreover, it was evident that the quality of food has dropped significantly since my last visit. The vibrant flavors that once characterized their dishes seemed to have taken a back seat, making the meal feel bland and uninviting.Another concern was the lack of adequate staff during my visit. The few employees present appeared overwhelmed and unable to cater to the diners adequately. This resulted in slow service and a general sense of neglect in attending to guest needs. In conclusion, I hope Ni Hao restaurant can address these issues quickly. A revival in the quality of their food and an increase in staff could make a substantial difference.
