RASRAJ SWEETS AND RESTAURANT (NAGPUR) — Restaurant in Nagpur

Rasraj. On one of the trips saw a new building with this board and decided to try it out. No Idea what was there before, as nowadays lots and lots of redevelopment is being carried out by demolishing old structures and replacing them with modern architecture and materials. Being a new building, it had all the advantages of better materials, lighting and a cleaner as well as brighter look. All this contributed to better ambiance. The ground floor had a shop selling sweets and namkins, and other savoury items. The restaurant is on the first floor. The staff was courteous. The order was taken promptly. We ordered Dahi kochari chat, Dahiwada, Raj kochari and Thali. Thali was limited to two chapatis, two veg, Dal raita and one sweet. Just sufficient for a moderate eater. I feel it would be insufficient for a person with a good appetite. Dahi kochari chat, Dahiwada, Raj kochari all looked alike, as in all of them curd was a major constituent, they all tasted similar. All were OK taste wise.Service could have been a bit faster. All in all good...

I knew already...Rasraj sweets and restaurant is famous in chandrapur... Today accidentally i saw this restaurant..went inside. and enquired....they opened this restaurant just 4 days back ...This branch also related to Rasraj sweets and restaurant chandrapur only..... Awesome ambience... service is very slow because they are new......Staff are polite, cooperative.....Needs improvement in the taste...we ordered idly..it was dry idly not freshly prepared.. coconut chutney good...but sambar was so sweet...pavbaji sabji is not upto the mark...bread was dry..needs good cook...for long run...we ordered sweet Rasmalai...piece cost.. 34rs..but they charged us 40 rs per piece and plate cost 80 rs..utappam also not upto the mark... they are new to city.... crispy veg taste is excellent... I know they will improve their taste... proper kitchen is not set...They are trying to give their best....All the best...Rasraj sweets and restaurant...whole menu is not available for initial...

If someone has power to beat the haldiram legacy in nagpur in terms of taste , ambience , service and authenticity then this place should be highly considerable.

They have 3 stages like sweets area (ground floor) , breakfast +lunch+dinner on first floor and banquet hall on 3rd floor.

Visited this place recently and tried Raj Kachori . Firstly it takes around 15 min to serve the food. Taste was good and authentic. Prices was reasonable . Ambience was good and healthy. Clean table service. Overall good experiance and looking forward to try other items as well.

Improvements- ✅ Need to mention cooking oil just like you have mentioned fssai number for public visibility. ✅Need to improve on service as it takes place 15 min to serve single dish.

Overall good place. Parking 🅿️ has no issue. Located in prime place i.e. Pratap nagar. Only veg options are available. Recommended -- Raj...
