Haldiram's — Restaurant in Nashik

I recently visited Haldiram's on Nashik Road and had a delightful experience overall. Here's a quick breakdown of my visit:

Food Chole Puri: The wheat puri was amazing—soft, fresh, and flavorful. However, the chole lacked the authentic Punjabi taste; adding a touch of amchur powder could really elevate the flavor. Raj Kachori Chaat: Absolutely mouth-watering! The blend of flavors and textures was spot on. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the taste made up for it.

Service The staff was very welcoming, and attentive. Their politeness and quick service added to the pleasant dining experience.

Ambience The restaurant maintains a high level of cleanliness and hygiene. The atmosphere is calm and family-friendly, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal.

I honestly didn’t expect much from this Haldiram’s location at first, but when I visited, it wasn’t that bad. The place actually makes a good first impression with lots of sweet options on display and a great variety of packaged sweets and snacks, which I appreciated.

The main menu isn’t bad either. For context, I’ve been to Haldiram’s in Delhi, so I do have something to compare the taste to. I ordered the Raj Kachori and Chole Bhature. The presentation was 10/10, but I found the bhature way too greasy for my liking. The chole was decent but didn’t really feel worth the price. On the other hand, I did enjoy the Raj Kachori which hit the spot!

As always, Haldiram sweets are really good. Overall, I feel this location has a lot of potential, but somehow it’s a bit of a miss at the moment. Not my first choice, but I wouldn’t mind giving it...
