Disappointing Experience at Haldiram's, Seawoods Nexus Mall

We recently visited Haldiram's at Seawoods Nexus Mall and had a thoroughly disappointing experience. Here’s what went wrong:

Taste & Quality: We ordered Raj Kachori, Chole Bhature, Butter Naan with Paneer Butter Masala, Lassi, and Rasmalai. Unfortunately, the taste of every item was below average and lacked the quality you'd expect from Haldiram's.

Paneer Butter Masala Disaster: To our disbelief, the Paneer Butter Masala arrived without any paneer! When we informed the staff multiple times, they initially denied the mistake. It was only after we took the bowl to the counter that they acknowledged it and replaced it. However, even the replacement was disappointing with only five small pieces of paneer in a full plate costing ₹345. The dish itself was bland, with no buttery richness – just a tomato-heavy gravy.

Naan Quality: The Butter Naan was cold and rubbery, far from the warm, soft texture we expected.

Lack of Basic Dining Essentials: To add to the poor experience, no plates or spoons were provided with the food. We had to ask multiple times just to get a spoon, which was frustrating and showed poor attention to customer needs.

Mismanaged Service: Service was chaotic. Our Chole Bhature was delivered to a different table, leading to an awkward dispute. We had to wait extensively to get our complete meal due to these errors.

I'm still trying to process the utterly disastrous experience I had at Haldiram in Nexus Seawoods Mall. I visited this outlet with the intention of enjoying some delicious chaat food, but what I got was a culinary nightmare. The food was an unmitigated disaster. I ordered Paani Puri, Sev Puri, Dahi Puri, and a rice bowl, but each dish was a flavorless, textureless monstrosity. The quality and taste were shockingly bad, and I'm still struggling to find words to describe just how awful it was. But the food was only the beginning. The real kicker was the restaurant's staggering lack of basic etiquette. They don't provide complimentary water to their customers; instead, they charge a whopping Rs. 50 for a paltry 500ml. This is not only outrageous but also a clear indication that the restaurant is more interested in gouging its customers than providing decent service. And if that weren't enough, the restaurant's policy on tissue paper is downright ridiculous. When I asked the waiter for tissue paper, he carefully counted out the number of tissues to match the number of people at our table. This is not only petty but also a clear indication that the restaurant is more interested in pinching pennies than providing decent customer service. Overall, my experience at Haldiram in Nexus Seawoods Mall was an unmitigated disaster. The terrible food, outrageous pricing, and ridiculous policies have ensured that I will never set foot in any Haldiram outlet again. I strongly advise others to avoid this establishment...

We were super excited to visit the Haldiram in the seawood mall as I have grown up eating Haldiram snacks and sweets and was looking forward to this And were not disappointed . The food was good . Raj kachori is delicious and rich with a lot of filling inside . The dahi papdi chat was also decent but tasted exactly like the dal kachori with the dahi and the other toppings. We ordered two coffees too on regular and one strong , the server had no idea which one was which and asked us to figure out on our own by tasting it or by smelling it. It tasted and smelled the same so not sure if we were even given two different ones.

The most annoying part was though that one of the servers just pestered my sister in putting a google review and was by her face the entire time till she completed posting of the review . His claim was that he had to meet his sales target . But is this how you would want to get it ? By forcing your patrons in writing one and not leaving by just standing in front of them. It made us very uncomfortable and doubt the good reviews this location has by making everyone forcefully put reviews . Let the reviews be organic and they can rather work on making their service and products better rather than focussing on google reviews

I hope this changes and we have more genuine reviews on this location . Hope to visit again and...
