So i planned my kid's birthday party in McDonald's, and oh my, do I regret!!! Due to some technical issues with the electricity board, there was an electricity blackout for almost 30 minutes. To my surprise, McDonald's here has no battery backup or a simple generator, so we waited in a blacked out room with 25 people with our mobile torches on! After a while, the issue was resolved as the electricity came back. Then the floor manager says there is no food as the kitchen is not functioning because of the low electricity supply! After that i lost my cool and "requested" the McDonald's person to go to some other branch of McDonald's and get burgers fries and beverages by any means and serve our guest. Till that moment they were just waiting for i dont know what! The assistant appointed for our help was always to be called and searched for she was never on place. And a genuine queation is - if the place is booked 10 days ago! A reminder call is made 1 day prior by me to McDonald's about our booking and even after reaching McDonald's 30 minutes before the party time how was the food not available???? Why does a big franchise such as McDonald's doesn't have such basic facility of a...
Read moreI hadn’t visited McDonald’s in a very long time. Since my child prefers KFC and has never tried McDonald’s since birth, I wanted him to experience the joy of a McDonald’s Happy Meal especially the excitement of getting a toy. Those of us born in the millennial era can relate to how thrilled we felt when our parents mentioned McDonald’s; back then, we were often more excited about the Happy Meal toy than the meal itself. Unfortunately, my recent visit to the McDonald’s at Haware’s Centurion, Seawoods, turned out to be a disappointment. When I ordered a Happy Meal for my child, I was looking forward to seeing the happiness on his face, but instead of a toy, they gave a small storybook with just a few pages definitely not worth it. As customers, we come to McDonald’s not just for the food, but for the experience and this fell far short of expectations. My Kid did not even want the book he left on the tray and left, instead I insisted on taking it home to remember how bad McDonald's provides service especially for happy kids meals. There was no excitement from my child. I am so disappointed...
Read moreThis is a pathetic place to have birthday celebration. They charge hefty but service is very poor. We hosted a birthday party for our daughter on 14th may 23. We were waiting for our guest, by then power went off. They had back up for there service counter but no power elsewhere. Kids suffered a lot because of it in May heat. They kept on saying that power will resume in 15 min but finally it came after 1 hour by that time we were on the verge of taking all kids to Seawoods mall McDonald's.They denied serving food in non ac area as it was not ready, also denied bringing it from Seawoods mall McDonald's. We were not prepared for this contingency knowing reputation of such a lage food chain provider but we were wrong. Some of the parents who came all the way form chembur (18km) blamed us for not thinking of it. Please don't host any kids...
