Worst Dining Experience at Dwarka Hotel – Nerul Railway Station

I had one of the most disappointing dining experiences at Dwarka Hotel, located within the premises of Nerul Railway Station. We went there for lunch today, expecting a decent meal, but what we encountered was far from acceptable.

Here are the major issues we faced:

No Basic Hospitality: There was no proper staff member to take the order or even offer water. The service was extremely slow and unprofessional.

Unhygienic Food Handling: The person serving food was visibly sweating and continued to serve food with the same unwashed hands. This was extremely off-putting and raised serious hygiene concerns.

Poor Quality Food:

We first ordered Veg Maratha and Chapati. As the name suggests, Veg Maratha should be spicy and flavourful, but it was bland and tasteless. The chapatis were dry and seemed like they had been cooked long ago.

After returning that dish, we decided to try Dal Tadka with Jeera Rice. Shockingly, the dal had no tadka or spices, and the jeera rice was burnt, hard, and black in places – clearly overcooked or reheated improperly.

No Response to Feedback: When I tried to politely complain about the food, the staff showed no reaction or willingness to address the issue.

Overall, it was a complete waste of time and money. I strongly do not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a clean, quality meal near Nerul station. There are far better places to eat nearby – this one should be avoided unless they seriously improve their hygiene, service, and...

Disappointing Experience with Payment Process from Magicpin.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a decent dining experience. However, the real issue arose when I tried to pay the bill using the Magic Pin app. To my surprise, I was surrounded by 6-7 employees at the bill desk, which made me feel uncomfortable and questioned.

It became apparent that the staff had little to no trust in the Magic Pin app and its payment gateway. The owner and the billing staff seemed unaware of the Magic Pin vouchers and Magic Pay, which added to the confusion.

As a customer, it was disconcerting to see the staff's lack of faith in a legitimate payment method. I hope the management takes steps to educate their staff about various payment options and ensures a smoother experience for customers in the future.

Even the waiters serving food were roaming barefoot or without shoes, which was unhygienic and unprofessional.

Dwarka is situated on the west side of the nerul station complex and is a very good restaurant to have a lunch or dinner with your family and friends. The food tastes good and the service is pretty quick aswell. Tables, plates, spoons and glasses are clean hygienic. It has both AC and non AC sections. One can book the AC section for birthday parties and anniversarys. Sometimes the restaurant is a bit crowded and u have to wait some time so if your plans to eat there on a busy weekend are fixed then its better that you reserve a table in advance (might include extra charges not sure).Overall the restaurant is peaceful and it is situated right next to a pay&park zone where u can easily find a place to park your car or bike.
