Nom Nom Asian Bar & Eatery — Restaurant in Navi Mumbai

This is the new outlet in Nexus Grand central mall. This is by far the best asian culinary restaurant in Navi Mumbai(still not better than Mainland China).

We went there for dinner pretty late at 11.15 pm, still staff was very courteous and made us welcome at a late hour.

The waiter quickly took our order and served us food. I have read so many negative feedbacks about the service, but i did not face any issue related to service here.

We started with California Roll Sushi and Tom Yum soup. I did find sushi to be bland and wasabi lacked a flavour. Tom Yum soup was flavorful. Then we ordered chicken and lamb dim sums. Both were delicious and made us crave for more. Food was accompanied by Guava Lava and Ginger Melon Mule. Both the mocktails were full of flavors and refreshing. Then we ordered Indonesian curry with steamed jasmine rice. I did not taste the Indonesian flavour in it. Curry tasted more like a Red Thai curry. I have been to Indonesia and Thailand and have tasted curries from both the nations, i can easily spot a difference between thai and Indonesian cuisine. We ended our dinner with a Japanese cheese cake which was finger licking good.

Overall a good experience. Do visit once for Asian...

Pros : Food is decent and palatable. Although I expected way more from them it's good but not horrible. The place is quiet nice. Nice atmosphere and good quiet place to enjoy a meal in peace Menu is nice and very interesting. Good meat options are available.

Cons : Service is sad. I read reviews before planning to visit this place for my birthday dinner, I had read about service being bad, but I thought let's give them a chance myself.. how bad it can be, but it's true... Service people seem like they are being captured and tortured to work here. They have no intention of serving with pleasure.. we asked for recommendation, they had no idea about their own menu. Seems they completely rely on the chefs and have ZEro interest in knowing what they are serving. They are not even aware what any dish is about. I asked if they use imitation crab or real crab, he had no idea what I asked .. anyway.. Food is ok, few things are good, most of it was mediocre. Sushi size was pretty small.. but it's ok.. pork bao tasted ok.. pork was little dry. Ambience : 1 light was flickering causing irritation.. but again something out of control and sudden, understandable..

Overall ok experience. Definitely overpriced....

Its frustrating and disappointing when you have high expectations for a meal, and the staff's behaviour ruins the experience. Worst Dining experience. Horrible staff. Dont go to Nom Nom Seawoods.

We ordered Sushi, dimsums, soups, sodas for us and steam rice for my kid to start with. Steam rice came after 45 mins after repeatedly asking staff about it. Later we ordered main course which never came. After 45mins or so, when asked about main course, first staff tells that letme check and get it. After 2-3 times like this, waiter - Prathamesh who took our order originally cones and says that they did not put order on KOT and hence we need to reorder. My wife walked off as with kid its not possible to sit for so long.

Manager Nitesh on calling, says because they have full restaurant it happens. Seriously this was the worst thing to hear. So casual about it. When we said please give us bill we want to leave, shamelessly Prathamesh brought the bill. We spent over 5000 for such a bad dining experience. Nom Nom this...
