Hello Everyone,
I visited this place around noon on a weekend with my family. I am bit skeptical about visiting this place again. Will explain about it below.
i. Accessibility This place is in Seawoods Mall so finding it won't be a hassle.
ii. Service As soon I reached I was bit upset because as it was family get together I had in advance did a enquiry with the hotel staff so that time they said they will provide me with some group discount so when I reached that time the management was like no we won't be able to provide you any discount. But still after this hiccup I did not take it that seriously as I was there for some good food and quality time. I still went ahead and asked for seat which was pretty good. The food was taking bit too long to come to the table. We had to repeatedly ask for the order. When we used to ask the Stuart he used to say " a raha hai a raha hai " and with lightning speed he used to dissappear.
iii. Food Massala Papad We ordered 2 plates as it has 2 papad in single plate. The papad were not that great, they lacked sev as topping.
Paaye da shorba It was something which I disliked the most. I simply could not have it. Left almost the way it was brought. I suggest strong no.
Chicken shorba It was good. Compared to paaya shorba it was 10 times good.
Ambarasiya Murg Tikka The chicken was nicely marinated taste was also good.
Nimboo Chicken It was the best dish which I had over here. It Chicken with some white sauce. It was really tasting good. I loved the sauce in which it was served.
Angare Murgh Tikka As the name suggests it was on spicy end. Okok type
Tandoori Murg It was nice. As expected it was nicely tandoored. Tasted good.
Peshawari Meat It was nice. It was little spicy but the gravy tasted good. It had definitely good flavors.
Keema tey kaleji It was okok nothing special.
Tawewala Meat Even it was okay. As you go buy name it was on dry end.
Veg kofta curry It was great in taste maybe probably it was the reason it took ages for the dish to reach the table.
Then we had some breads like Naan which was fine.
iv. Drinks Billo Aam jam Kachi...

_--------------below 2022 review This one of the few places it stands to its name i.e. you order any food it will be different unlike in shetty restaurants all veg has same taste. We have been here atleast 5 times. In between it was not operational now they have again started since a month. Must try ghungro sabji, tawa veg, panner preparation, dahi kabab, dal makhni . If you like sweets then must try rabdi jalebi. Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service:...
Read moreNorthern Tadka at Nexus Mall in Navi Mumbai offers a vibrant Punjabi dhaba-style ambience, adorned with cheerful pastel and bright colors. The staff, although a bit occupied during weekends, impress with their attentiveness and politeness. The Murgh Sholey Kebab stands out as a delightful and tasty appetizer, showcasing the restaurant's culinary prowess. However, a hiccup arose when I ordered boneless mutton dish and later i was informed that the mutton boneless was out of stock, leading to disappointment with the Mutton Bhurra Kebab, which consisted mainly of bones.paying about 466₹ for a mutton dish and you just getting 10% to eat and rest 90% consisting of bone was a reall disappointment.
Moving on to the main course, the Nimboo Chicken, originally a starter, shines with its flavorful gravy, complemented by a hint of lemon. The Rahara Murgh, mildly spiced, provides a pleasing experience for those with a penchant for subtler flavors. Tadkeywali Subzi, paired with roti, proves that vegetarians have delectable options as well.
To sweeten the experience, Northern Tadka surprises patrons us with a complimentary Jalebi and Rabdi dessert, a treat for those with a sweet tooth. Overall, the dining adventure at Northern Tadka is marked by fabulous and yummy flavors but ya if we the boneless mutton was available then it would have been a whole yummy experience , making it a recommended visit for those craving authentic Punjabi cuisine at Nexus Mall in Navi Mumbai.
