Udupi Shri Krishna, located in CBD-Belapur, Navi Mumbai, is a casual dining establishment offering a diverse menu that includes South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, and fast food dishes. Situated at Kukreja Plaza, Sarovar Vihar Lane, Sector 11, the restaurant operates daily from 8:30 AM to 11:30 PM.
Patrons have praised the restaurant for its authentic South Indian fare, with dishes like sambar, bhaji pav, and masala dosa receiving particular acclaim. The establishment maintains a commendable rating of 4.1 out of 5 based on over 3,200 Google reviews.
The ambiance is described as warm and comfortable, making it suitable for both family outings and casual meals. The staff is noted for being kind and courteous, enhancing the overall dining experience.
However, some reviews indicate areas for improvement. For instance, a customer reported receiving a plain uttapam instead of the ordered onion and tomato variant. Additionally, while many appreciate the food quality, occasional discrepancies in order fulfillment have been noted.
In summary, Udupi Shri Krishna stands out as a versatile dining spot in CBD-Belapur, offering a wide range of dishes that cater to diverse palates. While the restaurant excels in delivering authentic flavors and a welcoming atmosphere, attention to order accuracy could further enhance the dining...
Read moreI recently revisited Udupi Shri Krishna in CBD Belapur after a year, and wow, what a transformation! The restaurant has been completely revamped with a luxurious new look and an even wider menu to satisfy all cravings. It’s still the same iconic place that has been our family favorite for 25 years, but now it’s better than ever!
We decided to try their Srinathji’s Cake Shop special: 5 cakes for just ₹300—such an unbelievable deal! Imagine getting delicious cakes at that price! 😍
The food was the real star of the evening. Here are some of my absolute favorites: ✨ From Shetty’s Kitchen: Masala Paper Dosa & Coconut Uttapam – packed with authentic South Indian flavors. ✨ For Chinese lovers: Paneer Satay & Mushroom Chilli Dry – perfectly spiced and so flavorful. ✨ Must-try Signature Dishes: Veg Tiranga Gravy (three types of gravies!) & Lal Pari Biryani, which had two deliciously unique biryani flavors. ✨ For the cheese lovers: Alfredo Pasta & Paneer Chilly Pizza – creamy, cheesy, and indulgent!
Don’t skip desserts – their Kala Jamun, Hyderabadi Cham-Cham, and Three Men on Boat were heavenly. The fruit salad with ice cream was the perfect ending to the meal.
Overall, it is one of the best vegetarian restaurant in Belapur...
Read moreThis used to be our go-to place since college days (2008-10), but our recent Diwali visit (31.10.24) was a huge disappointment. We were served cold food, and the gravy mistakenly included mushrooms, so we requested a replacement. The delay left us with hard rotis, and by the time the rice arrived, the dal had gone cold as well. When we requested fresh replacements, we were charged for both the initial and replacement dishes.
The food quality has also declined over the years. The taste was nowhere near what it used to be, and there was so much artificial coloring in the gravy that it stained our tongues—something we had never experienced before.
To top it off, the senior gentleman at the billing counter was incredibly rude. When we expressed dissatisfaction with the cold food and questioned the charges, he said, 'Aisa bilkul nahi chalega, paisa toh dena padega.' When we replied that ‘thanda food bhi bilkul nahi chalega,’ he dismissed us, blaming the cold food on the Diwali crowd.
This disrespectful, dismissive attitude from management is unacceptable. After years of loyalty, we’re done with this place. It was a terrible experience, and we won’t...
