While I had heard a lot about it, finally ordered for the first time the Veg and Paneer biryani along with Salaan, Mint Raita and Mughal gravy 100gm each at additional cost. The delivery was rather quick considering it was a Saturday and reflecting peak hour on Zomato. The packaging is quite interesting and supposely an additional USP along with the cutlery. The biryanis were aromatic and flavourful from as soon as you open the box. It was warm and inviting and difficult to resisit to dig in immediately on opening the box. As soon as you take a mouthful you can experience the authentic flavours although personally I feel it's a little strong on the cardamon side. Combining with the Mughal gravy and mint raita takes the taste a few notches further. The gravy and Salaan is tasty but was cold and also quite oily. Also, while it's a default add-on usually you will have to pay a nominal price for each of the three items and the surprise package is a free Gulab-jamun that comes by default. Good marketing or packaging gimmick to not only push the GJs but also being able to charge for the default add-ons. Nevertheless, the first experience was quite a good one and everyone at home loved the taste so guess we are ordering...

Dhanashree who took the order took 15 minutes to place the order. After 45 minutes the driver called up and said it’s too far to deliver the order as Miss Dhanshree placed the order from a different kitchen . After waiting for an hour this lady calls up and says we won’t be able to deliver the food. I think Behrouz is really unreliable and they need to keep better staffs with better knowledge. Finally the authentic biryani place in town They don’t have a dine-in , just delivery but that’s too is just fine. A little over priced but when you don’t have other better options , it’s price after applying offers from Swiggy and Zomato doesn’t stings much !
