Read moreWell ... in Delhi having to eat genuine, authentic south indian flavours, there is simply nothing like it.
I mean .... What a taste man... 😋😋... superb 🤘🤘
I with my group had - Chicken 🐔 Biryani, chicken 🍗, Chicken 65, Chettinadu Chicken with Malabar parotta....
Not to forget, they have special gravy as well that goes wow with biryani......
Free Dahi Chatni, Raita, Bisleri water bottle.....
They will take the order from table and ensure you get food fresh and hot everytime....
The best part is - they use fresh ingredients.... ... not like some U.P. dhabas who uses sade gale (rotten) vegetables to make gravy......
Quality of food is A+ ... there were more north indians than south indian customers.... everyone using their hand to eat.... no faltu drama...
Lot of veg options too....
Only Con is - mostly filled... hard to find sitting as it is highly demanding .... I paid 600 for cab to go and eat there because in rest of the delhi, chinese guys are cooking dosa, idly and biharis are making momos.....pls don't take it personally, my point is not authentic flavours....
1 chicken biryani can easily full you.... no problem..
Go now, eat some genuine food in your life for once.....please be respectful to the staff.... UP / Haryana k dhaabe nahi hai ye.... they are fully occupied but still always focus to serve you better....
I treated my table waiter with smile and courtesy and as a result, he got me mutton curry packed for parcel.... earlier there was announcement that mutton curry is finished, but for me... he got me his personal saving, his own food just so I can have a great time.... in fact, I did... thanks bro...

The food is great, no complaints on that. But the service is slow and inefficient. The service staff have no clue on what is available and what is not available. They had to go and check multiple times if a dish was available or not. I was one of the first persons to order, but I did not get my order until I gave multiple reminders. Maybe they were ignoring me because I was solo. Takeaway was not available because takeaway containers were not available. But multiple servers gave me different responses on that, until they settled on one answer. I would check with one server, they would say I will check and come back. They did not come back, until I asked them myself. Even for the bill, i had to remind them multiple times. It's not that the servers were rude, they were very polite. But in terms of service, among the state Bhavans, this one is the worst. Better to visit Kerala Bhavan and Karnataka food center, which have both amazing food and superb service. Pricing was reasonable. Food quantity was decent, the biryani was enough for a single person. But the service leaves a lot to desired, and is the reason I would not recommend this canteen. I visited during Saturday lunch hours, i did not see a lot of crowd. The footfall was manageable, at least until one thirty pm. Maybe it gets...
