I recently dined at Bombay Hotel, renowned for its Veg Thali, which is priced at ₹170 per plate and offers unlimited servings. Despite the reasonable cost aimed at covering the restaurant’s maintenance and AC expenses, I found the taste to be underwhelming, meriting only a three-star rating for the food. The dishes lacked the rich flavors and quality expected from such a specialized offering. Additionally, it’s worth noting that this restaurant is a without onion garlic establishment, which might affect the flavor profile for some diners. However, the dining environment was comfortable and clean, which was a plus. The restaurant staff were notably good and cooperative, providing prompt and courteous service, which enhanced the overall dining experience. While the unlimited serving concept is appealing, it doesn’t quite make up for the lackluster taste. To truly attract and retain customers, I believe Bombay Hotel needs to either lower the price or significantly improve the quality and taste of their Veg Thali. Very bad service for the continuous three times, today it happens that by chance we were crossing Cuttack at lunch time and as usual i selected bombay hotel for eating but my son denied saying I won't beg and eat there service is very bad but I said come for the last last with me and u will see the service is good..... I took three token excluding my son as he won't eat at here and sat for lunch and it was the third time I asked for onion which came after saying in force command a small one piece then as I asked for another pc the person pretend to the deaf and passed by ,also then I asked for parwal sabji for one ,two, three, four ,five times then also no response i felt so embracing as if I am begging and eating, which forces me to leave the place as soon as possible... To the management charge more to give good service as before
