Hi! I went there for News Year's Eve and here's my experience -
The menus were worn down and the Indian menu was rather hard to navigate, but the detailed descriptions of the food under the names were very helpful. We ordered Veg Manchow soup and Crispy Mushroom Pepper from the Oriental menu, and Paneer Tikka Lababdar and Tandoori Roti from the Indian menu. The mushroom was extremely crispy without being oily, very nice. The other items were good, nothing much to say.
The service was alright, could have been better. The waiters were polite and asked questions about our preferences. It would have been appreciated if the water came in a jug instead of a packaged bottle. One problem was that the ratio of waiters to tables was rather off - very less waiters to the tables. This can put stress on the existing waiters and they can mess up orders when there is a large crowd.
The atmosphere is wonderful. The warm lighting is inviting and homely which creates a relaxing environment. They had music playing which was nice (though some music videos were rather inappropriate for children). Decorations for Christmas were there, which was cute. I felt that the fish tanks were rather congested but don't take my word for it since the fishes looked happy.
It was rather expensive (₹650 for the items shared between two people) but I think it is worth it to go on...
Read moreHeard a lot about this place, about its classic interiors British style and huge fish aquarium beside the tables, u watch the fishes while you eat. All looks good, but our experience of dining in here was a pretty bitter one. We dealt with slow service, that's excusable on a Sunday afternoon, then dealt with waiters who are unaware of the menu and their own specialities. We placed order for chicken clear soup and instead had veg clear soup with few boiled pieces of chicken minus a chicken broth which is absolutely mandatory for a chicken clear soup Butter garlic prawns was the only one thing we liked. Fish Paturi was tasteless and no distinct mustard flavour. Lastly chicken biryani mentioned as one of their specialities wasn't biryani at all.. no flavour no taste. Still we began eating but to our dismay we found a long strand of hair in it. That was it for us, we just wanted to pay the bill and leave It really amazed us that we were billed for the biryani as well which we didn't eat and returned. On enquiring about it the manager replied us, that they don't have a female among all the staff members, so it's not their fault and still argued about the existence of hair in the biryani served to us not being any fault of theirs After this horrific incident we left with our half filled tummy and a wasted...
Read moreRecently I visited this place, surprisingly it was good. The ambience of the restaurant was full of vibes. Due to festival season I ordered the veg menu in which we ordered chilly baby corn and mix veg hakka noodles. The chilly baby corn costs us 220 rupees, if we consider the portion it was really good. If you are ordering this item as a starter then easily 3 people can share that portion. About taste wise it was really good. Not so spicy not so blunt a perfect Chinese fusion you can say. Wanna rate 8/10 The mix veg hakka noodles costs us 210 rupees. The portion was really good. If you are having this item as a main course then 2 people can comfortably share this. If you are ordering this item as a starter then 3 people can share this. It's taste was good. But I wanna suggest them that kindly improve the paneer quality which are used in that noodles. If we are not considering the paneer part then taste wise it was 8.5/10 but if we consider the paneer part then it's 7/10. The staffs behavior are really polite and service was also good. Kindly take the above suggestions to improvise your service quality. They have a wide range of menu. We just tried 2 things and I am rating this restaurant on behalf of that. Definitely I will visit this place again and try the non veg items also. Overall...
