Worth it!!
Bombil Fry-Crispy on the outside, soft and juicy inside—this Bombil (Bombay Duck) fry was a delight. The spice coating was well-balanced, not overpowering the delicate taste of the fish. Fried to perfection, it wasn’t overly greasy, making it an excellent starter.
Veg Thali-A wholesome spread! The thali had a nice variety—dal, sabzi, puri, rice, and some crunchy papad. The flavors were homely and comforting, though a bit more spice in the sabzi could have elevated the experience. A great option for those who love a balanced, satisfying meal.
Prawns Curry-The prawns were fresh, cooked just right—tender yet firm. The curry had a rich coconut base with a perfect blend of spices, giving it a coastal charm. It paired wonderfully with steamed rice. A must-try for seafood lovers!

Read moreKolhapur Spice in New Panvel is a delightful surprise for anyone craving authentic Maharashtrian food, particularly the fiery flavors of Kolhapur. The restaurant boasts a pleasant ambience, with friendly and attentive staff. Their menu offers a good variety, but the real star is the Chicken or Mutton Thali.
Paired with the thali, the Tambra Pandra Rassa is a revelation. This signature Kolhapuri gravy, known for its deep spice blend, is amazingly authentic, transporting your taste buds straight to Kolhapur itself! Even better, refills on the rassa are unlimited, perfect for those who love the heat.
Be prepared for a wait, though, as Kolhapur Spice tends to get packed on weekends. Finding parking can also be a challenge. However, the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere make this a worthwhile experience for any...
Read moreI would say the first time dining experience was okay with Kolhapur Spice.
The food was good to taste and not very spicy. I liked the Pomfret Thali (Fish cuisine) with Taambda rassa and fish gravy taste which really gives the Kolhapuri vibe. But the Chicken Koliwada was average for the price it had so I would recommend Fish cuisines.
It's a family friendly restaurant for lunch & dinner so I won't recommend it for breakfast.
We had Non vegetarian dinner for 2 people which billed around ₹850 which was a bit costly as per the items ordered. If I compare with Neelkamal restaurant near Panvel station they provide something extra with the same rate for the items we ordered.
A plus point to consider was they allow Pluxee (Sodexo) scanner based payment if any individual has one so I used...
