I am writing this review to share my very disappointing experience with Choconova Bakery. We had placed a big order of hampers for our family function, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disaster because of their extremely poor service and lack of responsibility. The delivery time we were promised was 3 PM, as the hampers were to be distributed to our guests during the function. However, the hampers were delivered around 10 PM, when most of the guests were already leaving. I spent the entire evening waiting anxiously, calling repeatedly to check the status. The delay not only spoiled the schedule of our function but also created unnecessary tension and embarrassment in front of our guests. To make things worse, when the hampers finally arrived, their condition was completely unacceptable. Many of the jars were incomplete—some even empty or half-filled with dry fruits. The presentation, which was supposed to be the highlight, looked completely ruined. Flowers were torn and hanging, some jars had no logo pasted, and tags were missing from most of them. It was clear that no care or attention had been given to quality or packaging. We had paid a high price for these hampers, expecting something elegant and premium, but what we received was far below any professional standard. Throughout the day, I tried calling the owner, Ms. Aanchal, multiple times to understand what was going wrong. Sadly, she did not answer a single call, nor did she have the courtesy to inform us about the delay or apologize later. This irresponsible behavior added to the panic and stress for our entire family. At a time when we should have been enjoying our function, we were all worried and upset, waiting for the hampers that never came on time.

By the time the delivery finally reached us at 10 PM, the function was practically over. Our guests had already left or were about to leave. I can only imagine what they must have thought when they opened those hampers at home and saw the poor quality and missing items. It was truly heartbreaking after spending so much money and effort to make the event special. I would strongly advise anyone planning a function or special occasion to avoid Choconova Bakery. Their lack of professionalism, zero communication, and careless attitude can completely ruin your important day. There are many other professional and trustworthy bakeries that deliver quality products on time. If you are looking for honest, timely, and reliable service, please go somewhere else. Don’t take the risk of trusting your special moments with Choconova Bakery. For us, it was a huge waste of money, time, and peace of mind. What was supposed to be a joyful day turned into one filled with stress and disappointment — all because of their negligence. Very poor service, terrible experience, and absolutely not recommended. No customer should have to go through what we experienced. Please save yourself from disappointment and choose a more responsible vendor for your celebrations. My wife stumbled upon Choconova’s Instagram page around 3 months ago, but since they were based in Delhi, we could not go and meet them in person (although we liked their profile and work showcased on Instagram).

My wife and I were planning our son’s birthday party and were at it for 2+ months. We were working with another established vendor (based in Noida) who over-promised and under-delivered. Unfortunately, we had to cancel that order just 6 days before our event.
