The Grill By Jardin — Restaurant in Piplya Kumar

Hey guys,

Recently visited the grill, which is barbeque buffet, its situated within jardin hotel and the ambiance and vibes are very cozy you have pool side sitting option as well as normal sitting option near to buffet.

they serve a lot of variety in starters and in main course, as well the starters got started at the table, we have paneer tikka , mashroom tikka which was really good . pineapple tikka was okayish felt like it wasnt marrinated properly before cooking. Other starters which were served were also good other than cajun potato.

Now talking about the main course I tried the main course, soup were really good , even noodles were really good but other than that i didnt like the dal or paneer preparation , neither was the mix veg and all the food felt like it was cooked in the morning and has been continously heated so it had lost its taste and texture, bread which i order were lacha paratha and missi roti but they served me normal tandori roti which i didnt order after asking again they brought me my ordered breads and left older order on the table .

Overall for starters i will give them 4 out 5, main course definetly needs major improvement (2 out of 5), my friends had non veg main course and they really liked it so i am guessing they arent focused on veg main course , even soup bowls were not there on veg main course section we had to wait for 5 - 8 min before they bought me the bowl, where as plating should be refilled just like food own its own.

hospitality is nice , staff is friendly and they werent taking customers lightly, but definetly taste in main course needs improvement and a little bit service side as well.

Overall recommended for starters and if you are non veg lover than 100%...

I went there on 30th dec 2022. Reviewing late because experience was so bad I forgot the name of the place (was going through old photos and the name was there)

The good: ambiance and starters.

The bad: the live music was horrible and out of tune. We contemplated paying extra to ask singers to stop for an hour. We asked for screwdriver cocktail and got orange juice served. When we asked the waiter if there is no alcohol in the drink, they gave us separate shots to mix it! 😂 I went with my aunt, 2 sisters and our younger brother, everytime server came all the questions were directly addressed to him. When each of us gave order he kept looking back at our brother as if for his approval. This happened multiple times throughout the night (As if he would only take orders from the man). It was a very strange experience.

The desserts in the photos look delicious but my sister being a dessert lover couldn’t finish even a single piece (she took multiple desserts because they looked good). I remember main course being average because we all ate very little after starters.

I dont know if it was an off night. Everything there only LOOKED good, but overall experience...

We recently visited The Grill by Jardin to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and it turned out to be a truly memorable evening. From the moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The birthday celebration started with a lovely cake-cutting moment, and a live singer made it extra special by singing a birthday song — a beautiful and personal touch that we really appreciated.

The food was delightful! Both the starters and the main course were full of flavor, and we thoroughly enjoyed the taste and presentation.

However, I’m giving 4 stars because of the service experience. The starters were significantly delayed, and even after following up multiple times, the issue wasn’t resolved. Eventually, we had to skip some of the starters as the griller had slowed down, which was disappointing.

One more suggestion — some of the tables had very low lighting. While dim lighting creates ambiance, it was a bit too low to even capture decent pictures, especially for special occasions.
