Thiru's Hot Kitchen Restaurant — Restaurant in Puducherry

We were searching out for a restaurant that served good Chinese food around White Town area. They were either expensive or good food poor service category. We searched and found Hot kitchen which was around 8+kms from where I stayed. Took a blind faith leap and boy, I wasn't disappointed a bit. Started with Manchow soup to Sesame fried crispy chicken and Gobi to Crispy chilly beef followed by Mixed fried rice. Mr. Ganesh helped with delicate details of how each of the food items are procured, prepared and it was an interesting discussion. Fried icecream was the cherry on the cake. Must try. Be innovative to pick the items from the menu. You may have to bear with "slightest" of new service guys issues but it is not a show stopper as Mr.Ganesh addresses them quickly. Worst experience. I'm a medical student completing my 36 hr duty not even ate my breakfast. Ordered chapati form here and they didn't even provide a gravy. When I called and asked about it , they said they have already mentioned in Swiggy that gravy will not be provided with chappathi nd we'll not provide u. But when I went and saw in Swiggy there is no mentioning like that. Again I called they didn't attend the call and finally after 4 calls they attend and said sorry it's our mistake since there is so much rush. They didn't even try to rectify the mistake even at once. They didn't even say we will provide gravy or something. And for this sorry I have to speak to 3 people...

We stopped here on our way to Chidambaram from Chennai. If you're leaving Puducherry and going towards Chidambaram, do yourself a favour and stop here. It's a very affordable restaurant and the food quality is just excellent and quantity is not at all disappointing. Perfect restaurant in my view.

The staff is very quick and polite. The service is also super smooth.

I prefer sitting on sofas instead of chairs when dining out and if you're like me, the good news is that the height of the sofa seats are perfectly aligned with the tables :)

My mother also noticed how the restaurant has a lot of female staff members and commended the owner...
