#LIIT - Live IIT Today — Restaurant in Pune

A new place in town with good food, good ambience and good vibes. From the refreshing drinks to the delicious main course and to the yummy desserts, the place is super chill plus their funky wall art is super cool. 😍 The drinks I started with were : Hookah Cocktail Strawberry Milkshake Chocolate Milkshake Wakanda Forever Berry Bramble Smoked Sangria Litchi Rose Martini Shots Platter

All the drinks were unique and refreshing in their own way. I really love how innovative and pretty the drinks are over here. 💕

The food I had were : Cheese Naan Bomb : Tiny naan bites with cheese bursting from it. 🧀

Chicken Popcorn : Crispy chicken popcorn with their delicious in-house sauce. 💯

Palak Papdi Chaat : Yummy palak papdi with mashed potato. A different way of serving palak papdi which I really liked.

Paneer Tikka Thepla Taco : Paneer Tikka served in thepla as a taco. A very nice way of serving the tikka. Both went well with each other. 🌮

Veg Slider : Sliders with yummy vegetable patties. 🍔

Paneer Makhanwala Bao : Buttered Paneer Bao with an indian twist. Really loved the concept. 🤗

Chipotle Wings : One of the best chicken wings I have had that went well with Chipotle. 🍗

Chicken Sliders : Delightful mini burgers with chicken patties. 🥰

Kolhapuri Lamb Bruschetta : I never thought that Bruschettas could go well with indian toppings as well. This was really succulent and tasteful. 🔥

Fusilli in Cherry Sauce : A different red sauce which was tangier than usual which made me love it even more. Your usual red sauce but made yummier with cherries. Perfectly cooked. 🍝

Pad Thai : So this was very spiceful and nicely plated. One of the few places where I actually find Pad Thai to be good. 💯

Broccoli Corn Pizza : This is an absolute delight for vegetarians. I love how the crust was not too thin and nor too thick. It was just fine. 🥦

Pav Bhaji Bunny Chow : This was the fusion of pav bhaji given as a bunny chow. It was a good preparation with nice amount of Bhaji. 😇

Prawns Chill Phill : Spiceful prawns chilli gravy with pao. Prawns were cooked perfectly. 🍤

Chicken Stew With Ghavane : Neer Dosa paired with Coconut Chicken Stew. Both were super tasty together. 🥥

Chicken Tikka Pizza : With melted cheese and juicy chicken tikka on the top this pizza was amazing. 🍕

Butter Chicken Bunny Chow : Another chow with buttery chicken gravy. 😍

Banoffee Pie : End your meal with this delectable banana and toffee pie which was rich in quality and quantity. 🤤

Strawberry Chocolate Cake : Fresh sliced strawberry on this yummy dense chocolate cake. What a delight!! 🤩

Ever since Balewadi High Street has become new KP, there always have been new additions in the nightlife culture of west Pune. The newest addition is ‘LIIT’ which is a lit as its name. Well, the place speaks for itself. The moment you enter into this place, you’ll be blown away by the ambiance. A lit graffiti wall at the centre would catch your attention first and further to your right, you’ll find yourself amused by the swanky bar corner whose walls are lit up with some groovy captions. Moving to your left, you’ll see open area again with graffiti wall on side, lush green carpet, loungers, and some hammocks to give you that chill vibe you need. Basically, a place for everyone for should I say every mood. I’d give full points for the ambiance. A mix of cozy, swanky and classy.

Taking about their food and drinks, the place has distinctive menu. They are pretty famous for their cocktails. Some of them were even quite new to me. I haven’t seen them anywhere in Pune or tried them. Looked pretty fancy to me though. Hookah cocktail and wakanda forever turned out to be my favourite. Did I mention that both of the cocktails have smoke coming out of it, making it real fancy. Well, you really shouldn’t miss out on their cocktails.

Coming on to their food, it’s difficult to pick a favourite because I liked almost everything I tried. Starting from their bar bites which had ‘Cheese Naan Bomb’ and Chicken Popcorn’ , I’d pick Cheese naan bomb because of cheese as I love cheese. In starters, I had- Paneer Tikka Thepla Taco: fusion of taco and thepla. Taco made from thepla mix topped with paneer tikka was good in taste.

Palak Papdi Chaat: Papdi which was made from spinach (Palak) and covered in Chaat masala and chutney, served along with mashed potatoes. It lacked that savoury flavour in taste as the taste was too mild.

Chipotle Wings- Juicy chicken wings covered in chipotle sauce were treat for my tastebuds. That glaze was enough to tell the taste of wings.

Chicken Sliders: small, soft buns filled with chicken patty and served along with salad.

Butter Chicken Bao: Well, this literally won not my heart but stomach. Soft bao which were stuffed with butter chicken tasted absolutely delicious. A must try dish.

In mains, I have tried ‘Pad Thai’, Broccoli Corn Pizza’ and ‘Fusilli in cherry sauce pasta’ and my personal favourite was Pad Thai. Didn’t try their dessert because I was full already.

Overall, I had an amazing experience there. Everything was on point. From food to drinks to ambiance, everything was perfect. And even their service was quick and prompt.

Recently visited this newly opened place at baner. The ambiance is LIIT and so trippy like it is one of its own type in Pune. The whole place gives hippy vibes and is quite spacious it has 3 sections- indoor, outdoor and partially indoor and outdoor section. We took the partially open and outdoor one and this place is onown for its cocktails, they literally have a book on their menu on cocktails, shots so we ordered the above frame cocktails out of the edible flower LIIT cocktail was really good. Another one we ordered was some whiskey based drink with whipped cream this was fine- not bad not good.

Now let's come to food so we were really hungry and ended up ordering quite a few bites. 🍟- they were good and cheesy Hummus N pita with chilly techa- This was ok ok. Nachos with Salsa- They just serve the purpose of being nachos, not the good ones. Hara Bhara Kabab Candy- We finished it somehow but it didn't like this. Stuffed Mushroom in Bbq sauce- I m not Sure whether the name raises the standard or my expectations were wrong. I am usually fond of such dishes but that day I didn't even pick my second piece. The worst mushroom experience. Last Paneer Chilly- Which is not in the menu but the waiter suggested so we ordered which was so excess chilly that a human can't eat for sure. Again waste of food. AFter this we decided that we will have main course somewhere else. Now comes the billing part so they have 2+1 offer going on and so in total we got 1 beer and 1 cocktail free. While asking for the bill we informed the staff about zomatopay and once bill came it was incorrect we sent it back again it was incorrect with extra dishes. Again we sent back this tym bill came approx after 1 hour bill came to us with manual corrections and now incorrect pricing to which waiter responded since it was not in menu I quoted this price for which again there was a conversation and with irritation we manually deducted the remaining amount and proceed with it now while making payment they suddenly realised they gave us offers so cant let us avail the zomato pro to which we ended up not availing our pro and had to pay some extra amount.
