Atithi veg — Restaurant in Pune

I felt the place is more hyped. Went there multiple times but everytime got different experience. Valet parking driver almost hit our car. The waiting is too much. And after waiting for almost half hour we found that there was ample space inside and they could have occupied people there. Improper management. That was disappointing. Once we celebrated a birthday there and without asking us the waiter lift the remaining cake and threw in dustbin. While the kids wanted to have the remaining cake. We had one Senior member with us and we asked for zero spicy vegetable, we ordered the one which was recommended by them but they didn't informed that it was with coconut gravy. There was too much turmeric in it and it tasted Very bad. They repaired it twice but still same. Vegetables were with green chilly spice and it caused stomach ache. So they have either sweet or extreme spicy veggies. There is no in between. Never liked any vegetable at this place. Starters were good. But there were flies inside and irritating while having food. Even in AC compartment the flies were there. We complained about it but nobody cared. There is a dustbin behind the very first table which caused those flies. We had to change our table. Waiters were in too hurry and they were not there when we actually needed something. Overall bad...

Atithi veg is one of the elite veg restaurants in pune which has a wide range of veg dishes. I went to Hadapsar branch and though it's a busy road, they have plenty of parking space with valet parking also available for the convenience of customers. Restaurant staff are very friendly and they served the menu with a good and humble gesture which we really liked.

Normally in any restaurant there is a wait time when there are rush hours but over here you will find the dish you ordered at your table within 10-15 mins which is a quick one.

Aalu methi along with butter garlic nan was one menu which was out of the world as i had never had such a tasty aalu methi. They even have good range and variety of mocktails which add special feeling while you have having lunch or dinner here. If you are planning for breakfast then also you will find good options like Puri bhaji, dosa, idli.

Other paneer dishes were also nicely cooked and flavours of spices were coming out so nice that for a moment i was thinking of going vegetarian as well.

The ambience of the restaurant is also nice where you can bring your family for a nice dinner and you can even plan a small party as well. I cannot find any flaw over here and i would highly recommend this place...

Today being the first day of the new year 2024,I went in person to fetch dinner from this place.

A very polite elderly gentleman recieved us at the billing counter for the takeaway order. He kept apologizing for the slight delay in taking the order.

He quoted the expected delivery time of half an hour but we got it actually much earlier. Pleasant surprise !

When we started with the meal at home, the Thai rice with green curry was something out of the world ! Excellent taste and spice combination was just right !

The starter was Soya Chaap, which I actually ate after the rice. And to surprise, found a small plastic cap, like one would find on toothpaste tubes in, in my food !

Now, I am an upright man. I earnestly wanted to return that cap to the rightful owners,i.e. the restaurant. For long I have been trying their number, just to ensure they would take it back. Alas ! The quoted landline number does not exist !

I have held this opinion, and written a review in the past too, the kind of money they have spent on the exterior, they should devote at least half-a-worth of that on such important things like toothpaste caps in food served...
