Big Daddy's — Restaurant in Pune

New and renovated, just moved out to the Salunkhe vihar road next to Keventers. This is the best place possible for fried chicken! Zero competition for the fried chicken/ chicken popcorn as there is no one serving it in this locality, no KFC nearby means fried chicken = Big daddy's USP!!!

We ordered: Herb spicy shredded chicken burger- Generous serving of shredded chicken with herb mayo and topped with lettuce. Not too spicy to overpower the herbs, easy on the palate.

Big daddy's Special boy burger- Crunchy chicken patty fried to perfection! Go for it if you'd like to have something crunchy.. the southwest sauce pairs well with the crispy chicken.

Chicken Popcorn- The portion serving is enough for 3 people easily, and is at par at least with KFC.

6 piece Chicken bucket- As I said earlier, Fried chicken is their USP. Some may argue, but personally I prefer this to the KFC bucket. Huge pieces of chicken, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I think you can also request for the type of chicken pieces in the bucket (enquire when ordering).

Peri peri fries- Who doesn't love long fries? Add peri peri to it, and this is a yummy side dish to go with the burgers. Portion size is good for 3 people.

Chicken tender strips- Similar texture and taste as the chicken popcorn and fried chicken, these boneless strips are for those picky eaters who like to gobble chicken without any disturbance (bones).

Lemon ice tea- Something refreshing to go with your meal! You can also order from the Keventers next door(Yes, they allow you!)

Service- As they have just relocated, many people have been flocking to grab a bite during the evenings, so you might have to wait a bit for a table. The service is good, expect around 15-20 minutes for you to receive your order.

Ambience is good with majority of people being on the younger side.

Overall I enjoyed the experience! Finger...

The best place for non veg junk food.... Took one star off because of some weird time restrictions for online ordering from Swiggy...

... French fries as a side dish is available for a tiny window during the day - from late afternoon to early evening... what are we supposed to do if we want fries with our burger or wrap etc. during the day???

Also... why are they giving soft drinks in that weird glass - highly dubious. Small bottles give us a sense of quality assurance.... These glasses lose the fizz, are difficult to open... If cost to the environment is the issue... then what are we supposed to do with the glasses? How many are we supposed to collect? One for every time we order??? Just weird...

Also basic soft drinks are not available to order seperately... I really don't like shakes and the kind of...

Worst worst experience I ever had. . Their management staff is not gud at all. . I was a regular customer before and it was amazing back then. . But today.. It was the worst of all . I ordered a hot wings Large . And out of 6 pieces , 2 pieces was smelling awful. Very very bad and it appeared bad too. . My friend took a bite and .. .it was just not edible. Smelled like dead rat. When I complained the staff , they said... They would exchange it . But won't refund the money back.. . I was so disappointed that I didn't want to eat that again at all. So I just left.. It's a total total waste of money guys. . These ppl are very low on hygiene and. . Don't even clear old stocks .. I wonder how ppl order from zomato. The orders which customers order must also be the same as dead rat. I request u guys. . Plz don't buy eat in this place....
