SALT — Restaurant in Pune

One of favourite Chat place in Wanowrie, Salunkhe Vihar Road, Pune. SALT is very wonderful chat joint, mainly offers 100+ Lucknowi chat dishes alongwith juices, slushes and much more.

The various chats offered are prepared hygeinically and well trained khansamas. Every dish offered is very very tasty.

One has to order food at cash counter first and the restaurant staff after preparation will bring it to your table.

Always a very crowded place in evening hours and liked by people of all ages, from 4 yrs to 84 years.

I love Alu Tikki Chat and Samosa chat offered by SALT. Even Ragda Pattice, Pav Bhaji and Pulao are very wonderful in taste.

Alu Tikki Chat and Panipuri has distinct Lucknowi flavour and taste. Definitely, one can say that authentic Lucknowi flavours have arrived in Pune and that too at Salunkhe Vihar Road,...

The food is below average. I am giving 2 stars just because of ambience and open air sitting in nice location with good crowd( it was cool and breezy in hot April). Food here deserves no ⭐.I ordered paneer burger, veg burger ,chocolate sandwich, pao vaji and paneer roll. I would give no star to burger , 1 star to sandwich and 1 star to pav vaji. Roll was also below average. There was no onion and lemon with pav vaji and only with 2 slice of cucumber was given. service was very delay. Here m attaching only one picture of paneer burger and not others because this burger came first and after tasting it I was so disappointed to take any other...

I just wanted to let you know about my recent experience at the Salt shop. I stopped by for a refreshing watermelon juice, which was advertised for 80 Rs. However, when it came time to pay, the cashier insisted on charging me 100 Rs because apparently, the market value for watermelon was higher that day. I tried to reason with him and suggested that he update the display to reflect the accurate price, but he blatantly refused and took the extra amount from me anyway. Needless to say, I was not pleased with this kind of shady business practice. To other customers please avoid falling into the same trap. Definitely think twice before visiting...
