An Horrible Experience No one should get !!
We visited Cafe Peter on the Sunday evening, as suggested by Captain we ordered "Veg" Korean Sizzlers, like everyone in the comments we also got our order 30-35 mins later. But what we got "Non-vegetarian" Sizzlers. I have asked the captain whether it's a Non-Veg Sizzlers or Veg one but what surprised me the Captain told it's a Veg Sizzlers and it's Soya Chap and he was pretty sure it's Soya Chap only.Later I asked the captain who suggested this, he was also sure it's a Soya Chap only and was firm on that. Now I got doubt on myself whether it's a Chicken sizzler or Soya Chap. I don't eat Non Veg during Shravan (personal choice) but my Wife doesn't like and eat Non Veg food. As both the captains were 110% sure that it's a vegetarian sizzler I took a risk and had a bite of Sizzlers and found that I broke my Shravan fast, it was a fried chicken...Both the captains also checked it with their Chef it was Non-vegetarian Sizzlers.
I went to the Manager to pay the bill, he said sorry didn't take the payment. But issue was not about the payment ,it was about the horrible experience, the personal faith that broke due to over confidence of the staff, the evening that got ruin due this !! A Complete Disappointment!!
If you are reading this review, I would not recommend this place , first due to the incidence I faced(that you may also face). They have multiple food options but you need a patience to taste it because it will take much time to receive. Another thing is the overly high priced Menu....
Read moreEverything was going great till the time we ordered sizzling chocolate brownie.
They burnt the chocolate brownie and moreover the cook was shouting so loudly and rudely.
We never had a cabbage leaf in chocolate brownie. So when they brought the brownie first, we were shocked to see brownie on cabbage leaf.
We asked them why a cabbage leaf was there, they told because the brownie shouldn't get burnt.
We asked him we haven't seen anything like this before.
Second time we were given perfect brownie( without anything between hotplate and brownie) but it was burnt. Not even edible. So we humbly said that we can't pay for this since it's not even edible.
The attendent ( didn't enquired his name) was courteous and respectful but the cook who had made the brownie was shouting rudely from the first floor saying " unn logon me hi bola ki cabbage mat dalo karke, toh jalega hi na"
The attendent told us that the same brownie is served in viman Nagar.
So we went straight to viman Nagar outlet and found out that they had used pineapple instead of cabbage.
But "Desert Lounge" ,which is on the way home, serves perfect brownie ( without anything between hot plate and brownie). You get taste of walnut and everything.
Our experience of brownie was not great with PETER.
Sorry but no hard feelings here. Just sharing my experience.
Hope others don't go...
Read moreHave been an ardent admirer of the other branches of Cafe Peter, but this Kharadi branch just spoilt the entire experience and the image of Cafe Peter. Got the appetizers in the end (they said it got burnt before). Arrabbiata pasta was anything but Arrabiata. Had bitter taste to it as if it was stale. Garlic bread hardly had any butter to it and was literally just the dry toast (you could see the empty bread). Kimchi Fried rice had no Kimchi in it. Blue Lime soda was made from a soda with zero fizz as if the soda bottle had been opened from days. Cheese Chili toast had imli sauce (Tamarind) on it, and it felt like they had simply melted some cheese with tamarind sauce on it. The bread was not even toasted and was raw (how we buy bread from the market). The waiter was busy chatting to his outsider friend and was hardly interested in providing the service. Even after we asked for the bill, he kept on talking to his friend, and only after we asked again; he gave us a frustrated look and got us the bill.
Never expected this kind of experience from Cafe Peter. Don't recommend the...
