Chandan Restaurant — Restaurant in Pune

Got in here for the first time. This is one of the oldest restaurants in Pune. My mother is a Retd. Dy.S.P. from Pune City Police. She and her staff used to dine in here at the time of any bandobasts in this area.

South Indian dishes are very good in taste. We ordered Rava Sada Dosa and Cheese Onion Uttappa. Quantity was very good and taste was also very good. They smoked up the hotel with Loban as it was evening time for pooja.. Smell of Loban was magnificent.

The service is little bit slow. Prices of all items are very reasonable compared to other hotels. Has a toilet and wash basin too.. Has own parking for around 20-25 vehicles inside the compound). So no tension if you come by 2 wheerler. Car parking not possible as it is at signal and corner of the chowk.

We visited Urolife for my father's treatment. Since it was 1:30pm, we were frantically looking for a pure veg restaurant for lunch which will be near the Medical center and also offer quick service. Chandan restaurant was the best option that we could have. It not only offers pure veg options but also Jain menu is there for multiple food items. My husband does not consume onion and garlic, hence it was very helpful for us. Our order was delivered within 10 minutes of ordering. The staff was very helpful and informative. The food delivered was hot and tasty and in good quantity. The location of the restaurant is also very good and within quick reach. I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a good vegetarian restaurant...

Its just by chance we happened to come across this place for lunch. And thank God we did! It's a veg & Jain foodies delight ! An awesome location and a lot of choices with veg and even Jain. Quantity & quality of paneer butter masala was very good and so was warm and full the dal fry.. really good. Didn't like the rotis on the veg thali was little hard but the other stuff assorted was good to go. Basin was clean with soap which is important with covid knocking doors.
