Review - 2 My experience at Henny's Gourmet..

It's been a couple of weeks I was craving for the awesome waffles from Henny's Gourmet and finally stood a chance to go there last Sunday!!

Being fans of the place since it's inception on a food truck near Salunke Vihar, this little waffle joint, now in a shop, has literally had people queuing, just to get their very own oozy waffles.

After a short wait in the que, I finally get to place our waffle order. Within no time,these 4 beauties were in my hand ready to just dig my teeth into..

Without wasting any time, I had to take a bit of the Belgium Waffle and the Nutella with cream.. Realising that I haven't put up anything in a while now on social media, my friend and me to put down the waffle and clicked a picture before it all vanished into our stomachs..

The 4 portions were literally walloped up in no time!! Literally chocolate all over our mouths and licking the plate clean..

The soft fluffy waffles with these smooth toppings were just want I wanted to end my weekend with..

Success in the food beverage and desert industry is difficult these days with restaurants, desert joints opening up really quickly, making Pune the go to destination for foodies!! Henny and Sanya along with their team now have been consistent since the begining of time with no compromise on the quality and quantity..

Can't wait to try out their new concept: waffle buns!!

I'm not at all a dessert person. And I was bullied to visit this place.

The timings of this place are a bit weird and the dessert parlor isn't open on all days or during day time. So get ready to stand in queue to give your orders when they open.

We started with the Nutella with MnM's. Took a quarter sized waffle which is enough for two people to try. The waffle was loaded with Nutella and it was too sweet for my taste buds. Also, the Nutella is very sticky. I did said I'm not a dessert person 🤷‍♂️

To neutralize the situation we tried Caramel with banana and cinnamon. This one is recommended with cinnamon. Since whipped cream sounds like a scam, I had Ice cream for which i paid 40 bucks extra. Totally worth it. Not too sweet, crunchy waffle with a slight hint of cinnamon and fresh banana slices giving every bite a refreshing cold taste.

The Dark Belgian Chocolate Mousse is their best selling waffle and you should definitely try this one. It's pretty loaded and is a treat for chocolate lovers.

They had this new thing where the waffle is made into buns. So we tried that too, and it was just amazing. The entire thing looks like a mini burger and you'd prolly eat it like one but it's absolutely worth investing in.
