Katakirr Misal is a must-visit spot for misal lovers. Known for serving one of the best misals in town, this place delivers an authentic and flavorful experience. The misal here is perfectly spiced, with a balance of heat and tanginess that keeps you coming back for more. The crunchy farsan on top adds the perfect texture, while the fresh pav complements the dish beautifully.
Another highlight of Katakirr is their mattha—a cool, refreshing buttermilk that perfectly balances the spice of the misal. It has just the right amount of seasoning, making it an ideal companion to the fiery dish.
Beyond the food, Katakirr offers a small but delightful surprise at the billing counter—chocolates that are an absolute must-try. Whether you’re looking for a sweet finish to your meal or just a quick indulgence, these chocolates add a unique touch to the overall experience.
The service is efficient, and the ambiance is simple yet welcoming. Whether you’re a hardcore misal fan or trying it for the first time, Katakirr won’t disappoint. If you’re in the area, this place is a no-brainer for a satisfying, spicy, and authentic...
Read moreThis was my first time trying the famous katakirr misal and it was an incredible experience. Being a typical Punekar misal outlet there is quite an attitude in the staff members. They are not as friendly as you can find in any other misal outlets but ignoring that the place is quite nice. The place is spacious and comfortable but during rush hours you have to share your table. They have an interesting system for placing your order, there is a tablet where you have to enter your order and it will give you a receipt with your token number. This is to have coordination during crowd and to avoid any confusion in your order. Now the taste, The taste was incredible and a must for spicy food lovers. It wasn't too spicy to hurt your whole body for a day but enough for giving your body a small shock. And to counter that they have mattha(chilled buttermilk with some mild spices) which is the perfect combo. They also have a medium misal and nonspicy misal for children and other people. But if you are trying it the first time then you should try the...
Read moreWorst Misal Pav I've ever tasted. They offered Misal without Mataki. They used potato instead of Mataki to make taste worse. Sample was filled chilly powder to make it spicy bit not tasty. Farsan was also not tasty, it was regular farsan. They should give special misal farsan so they can atleast make taste better somehow. They use their name as a brand(?) for publicity but not thinking about how to make dish more authentic and tasty. They charged 100/- but that was wasted. They are not even deserve one star rating but giving them One star rating only because can't give less than that. If they think they offer best Misal Pav in Pune they have to read lowest reviews from customers and make changes for better taste and quality. I've tasted many Misal Pav in and around the city and they are much much better in taste in quality, even some small stalls have better quality Misal Pav than Katakirr. They should try making better dish rather than overrate themself. They ruined my breakfast and mood also. Not going try Katakirr Misal...
