I visited this place yesterday, overall experience was pathetic!! Food served was completely cold. Everytime we had to give a reminder to bring food. The waiters were unhygienic and the one who attended us was in a shabby clothes. We chose to sit in family section just to avoid smoke. Just in family section there were group siting right behind us who were continuously smoking. Hence, suffered alot because of smoke. Post completion of dinner when we asked for check, please refer the attached closely they have charged extra for the starters where in the rate mentioned in menu is not matching the bill. Later, if you see right at the bottom of the bill you can see there is “SC” mentioned which is known as Service charge. Now, here comes the twist when you ask waiter will never mention/inform you about this. This is what known as “tip”. For the service what I got, I don’t wish to pay service charge. And what does this water bottle & service charge means?????????????? Can you please explain?

Please be cautious: when you go in a big group or with your family and friends. They charge you hefty amount as service charge wherein, they don’t even asks your permission. When I asked the waiter about this service charge , that why didn’t they explained us before charging, he replied” you should have asked about this earlier , now the bill is done we cannot...

Chandralok used to be a regular place where we would have our family parties when I was a kid. After a few years, the place deteriorated and we stopped visiting it. Recently, I ordered some food from here on Swiggy and it was good. So I decided to actually go to the place. To my surprise, the place has again regained its earlier quality. The ambiance is good. The garden seating is spaced out and so gives good privacy. the light is just enough...no big halogens lighting up the area..It has a small playground which is visible from all tables.
