Read moreKokkita We recently visited this beautiful restaurant located in Hadapsar. It's sprawled over a large area, hence very spacious. They have different areas like banquet hall, garden area for family and friends, bar area and terrace area. This place is perfect for birthday celebrations, as the garden style ambience will offer you the best vibe suitable for any of your events. The staff here is cooperative, attentive and their hospitality is impressive. We sipped on a few mocktails and each one had its own peculiar taste. Blue colada and lavender lemonade stood out. We hogged on- 😋Starters- Prawns Tempura- Perfectly fried tender prawns in a batter and served with a delish dip made this dish a super hit. Paneer Sofia- Paneer pieces that were soft and fresh were marinated in a blend of spices and then roasted. The mixture of spices on it with veggies tasted bomb. Crispy Chicken- The elongated chicken pieces which were well cooked was then tossed in various sauces and topped with sesame seeds. Have it hot, as they taste amazing that way. Stuffed aloo- The inner part of the potato was scooped out and coated with batter and then roasted, further cut and the hollowed part was stuffed with delish veggie mixture. The charred flavour of potato made it more enjoyable. 😋Main course- Chicken and veg dimsums- Both of them were heavenly delicious. Veg dimsums comprised of mushrooms, cabbage and other veggies stuffed inside the covering. The dips served along with it took them a notch up. Chicken Thai curry with rice- Thai curry is the most comforting meal for me. This one is a must-have here if you love Thai curries. Taste-wise it was a bang on. 😋Desserts We ended our meal by indulging in Baked cheesecake, the smooth texture, the right balance of sweetness and this dessert overall was a total win for me. Tiramisu again was superb. The perfect layers were visible and the meal was enjoyable with these desserts at the end.
We had the best time here. Right from the drinks to desserts, everything was a total win for us. Looking forward to visiting them...
Read moreWhen you enter a place like Kokkita which has been my go-to place then your expectations are set. . Recently, I was here for dinner. The parking was smooth & that was it. The place was partially occupied. The AC hall was a little noisy & then there's their garden restaurant where the service was in full swing. . We chose AC hall for our seating today since it was a pretty hot day outside. Once we cooled ourselves in the AC, it was time for the food order. . By the way, the hall is done well & looks a bit maintained & clean except the dirty sofas (Pls. get them cleaned for God sake, check UrbanClap for a good deal!). . Moving on, the guy arrived with the menu, sounds awesome but where's the water? Now, they've 2 choice of water where one is cold water from their RO or normal water from mineral water bottle. So, they told us to purchase a bottle of water if we want normal water. (You can do better here, launch a 1+1 scheme on mineral water bottle) . God bless your staff :) We ordered your Subz Seekh Kebab which was loaded with spices. It's a kebab not a spicy pakora & conveyed the same to your staff. The best that they could do is nod their head. You charge 300+ for a veg kebab, atleast have the courtesy to replace it or don't serve it at all. . The main course was your tried & tested Subz Handi. The chef forgot to cook it properly. I mean there were big pieces of onion & tomato in that thick gravy. What's wrong with you? . . For hospitality, where you failed miserably thanks to your dumb, slow people with an attitude that lacks courtesy. Imagine yourself sitting at a restaurant & the staff starts switching off the lights. It feels amazingly sad!! By the way, it was not even 11:30 PM which is your closing time. . Every restaurant has it's own good & bad days but you're consistent with a staff that lacks COURTESY & food that has no consistency what so ever. I happen to trust basis my earlier visits but not now. My titanic ride ends here...
