What is the most important ingredient in any greatly conceived dish?

Now dont go searching on the world wide web of half truths. I'll break the ice here... it's Love! .... and a little bit of saute'. Don't you think?

Then head over to this eatery called Love & Saute. It is a pure veggie place and is strategically placed in a rather seemingly Vegetarian heavy neighborhood. Even on an unassuming weekday like monday they were packed with guests; a prelude to the overwhelming popularity it already gained within a fortnight of opening up to public.

The outdoors are a dark theme with a lawn. Graffiti adorn the walls all over the courtyard and the indoor seating  is equally dainty. We were welcomed by the very jovial Mr Siddhesh Iyer, General Manager who explained the concept behind the whole place. Siddhesh is well informed about each and every dish of this place and so about the drinks too. Their drinks are a marvel- they serve both hard drinks snd mocktails. Must try is the Teq Sunrise and P colada.

Discerning palate that I have I couldn't wait to try out their delicacies.

Paneer multani tikka -- a unique sautéed style of cottage  cheese starter coated with a tad bit of peanut and condiments served on a bed of thick white dry gravy.

Butter garlic cottage cheese- an oriental style cottage cheese similar to paneer- light batter fried and tossed in white garlic sauce.

Soups Brocoli almond soup and Tomato dhania sorba; both were equally yummy and my vote goes for the sorba any given time.

Mexican veg sizzler- even though veg, this sizzle can give the meat based sizzlers a run for their money straight off. The veggies were as fresh as a daisy, rice cooked to perfection and the sweet sound of sizzle.

Chitta Paneer- indian cottage cheese simmer cooked in a tangy, well spiced, thick gravied curry. Goes well with a sesame Naan.

Shyam savera- the Yin Yang kofta dish of the place- the dish is for people with a sweet tooth- koftas cooked in a white rich gravy with dry fruits and nuts and is the right match for a lachha paratha

Folks, this is an exquisite place for amazing vegetarian fare- if you are a veggie then you must go! If you are a non vegetarian then all the more reason you should try it...

Love the restaurant!! My experience here was absolutely amazing. The service and speed were fantastic; the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that my needs were well taken care of.
