Nileema's Veg — Restaurant in Pune

Writing this review after multiple recent experiences here. The quality has degraded horribly in last 1 yr.

South Indian - dosas are ok, but chutneys and sambhar are nothing less than hopeless. Don't know what they want to make. Taste like ready made sauces.

Chole bhature - Bhatura was sour and thick. The dough seems like 4 days old. It was thick like ready made kulcha bread that you get on street thelas in Delhi have been fried. Chole was no where close to chole in chole bhature.

Veg Manchurian was a joke. It was soft but seems uncooked, just felt like Corn flour balls and u can taste corn floor powder slurry. Seriously are you kidding? For 170 bucks 10 piece of corn flour?

Honestly it does not seem mistake of cooks. But seems only 1 cook cooking everything.

Don't take orders if u don't have enough cooks and...

Neelma's Pure Veg really deserves more than 5 stars. The quality of the food, the taste, the variety in the menu, cleanliness, hygiene, each and every thing was top notch. We ordered Pav Bhaji and Chinese rice. Considering the size/area of the hotel Neelma's Veg exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds. For ex-The menu card or the plates used for Pav Bhaji were no less than the plates used in any Premium hotels. The ambience (lots of yellow bulbs), the atmosphere was superb.

Additionally the budget/pricing was also in accordance with market rates which should be or is usually high considering the vibe and all.

Overall 5 on 5 for each and everything. Forgot to take pictures of food we have. But highly recommended...

I had a terrible experience here. I ordered soya chaap, and the menu clearly mentioned ₹200–₹210. But when it came time to pay, they suddenly billed me ₹280 – with no prior information, no update, and no justification!

This is nothing short of cheating customers. Either update your menu or stop misleading people. The staff seemed totally unapologetic and even arrogant when I questioned the price difference.

If you’re looking for a place that respects customers, communicates clearly, and maintains honesty, this is NOT the place. First and last visit. Totally unacceptable...
