Slice of Soul (SOS) - Viman Nagar — Restaurant in Pune

Pizza is bae! If you read my blogs regularly you know what I am talking about. I love pizzas and feel that this is the best thing in the world. The name is just perfect and is also my definition for pizzas – Slice Of Soul! These guys have a concept of customizing your own pizzas, right from sauces to the choice of dough to the toppings. You can add whatever you like & hey, there is no limit to the number of toppings you add. Plus they have also introduced pizza slices recently which again is in the range of Rs.100 for veg and Rs.139 for non veg with a choice of sauce and any 3 toppings.

So let’s see what all I had :

Berry Cola – These guys have created magic with the boring cola. Cola with a slice of lemon in it and some added berry magic is amazing. #HighlyRecommended.

Cheese Garlic Bread – Extremely cheesy garlic bread and super delish. Looking for another Instagram post or that perfect cheese pull for a boomerang??? Go and order this one and thank me later.

Half & Half Pizza – Now what’s half & half? I went for half veg & half non veg. One side had the red sauce and the other had the green sauce. I chose toppings like corn, mushrooms, chicken, olives, bbq chicken and a wheat base. I opted for a thin crust and all these toppings and trust me it wasn’t odd at all. I mean I just went on adding the toppings and then wondered how it’ll taste like but it tasted so good. And the best part is even though I had ordered for a wheat base, I didn’t feel any difference or I’d rather say I didn’t miss my maida.

Mac N Cheese – Hands down the best mac n cheese in town. In love with their mac n cheese. The portion size is huge and is sufficient for 2 good eaters plus the garlic bread is like a cherry on the cake.

Smores – Cookie sandwich filled with chocolate coated marshmallows is decent. I am not a fan of marshmallows so I didn’t find anything fancy about it.

Caramel Custard – The caramel custard is just WOW. The caramel has a very dense flavour and the custard is just right when it comes to the consistency – nice and wobbly. A must must musr try at SOS.

Overall, SOS is now tops my list when it comes to PIZZAS and the place is VFM.

Huge disappointment in Kalyani Nagar. That was my first and last order from this "restaurant" - I was lured by good ratings although there was more cheap and already checked options in KN. I ordered pizza and spaghetti with additional prawns for which I paid in advance. Unfortunately pasta came without prawns and Pizza was mangled, squeezed and deformed (no shape round at all). When I called and demanded to bring me proper order and take back old, they denied and asked to my claim to Uber Eats. Waste of money - they didn't understand that I don't want to eat veg spaghetti - I had to pay for their mistakes as they didn't want to pick order back. Do not recommend and all and for sure I will not be back. Rude staff during phone speech, not training to support and help at all. Totally...
