One of the best sweet shops I’ve visited in a long time!

Parijat Mithai is truly a gem. The moment you walk in, everything looks so authentic, fresh, and absolutely tempting. You can literally feel the freshness in every item.

The hygiene here is top-notch — staff members are all wearing hair covers, and the entire place feels clean and well-maintained.

The staff is also super polite and attentive, and if you’re curious about any sweet, they’ll happily describe the ingredients for you too!

What really impressed me was their sugar-free sweet section — perfect for guilt-free indulgence 😄. I ordered the rasagulla, and wow... it was so soft, juicy, and fresh that I honestly don’t have words to do it justice. I also tried their sugar-free malai halwa, and I swear it’s the best malai halwa I’ve ever had — and bonus, zero guilt!

They also have a wide range of savouries like khakra, chura, farsan, and puffs and many more options, plus a collection of bakery-style biscuits as well.

And to my surprise, they even sell baklawa — which is super rare to find in Indian mithai shops. I didn’t get a chance to try it this time, but definitely on my list for the next visit.

Parijat is located on the ground floor, just next to Dutta Mandir Chowk and is a sort of landmark by itself. The building is next to the Lexicon school. It is also next to the Theobroma cake shop. The shop has very wide frontage. It stocks Malai Rolls, all kinds of barfis, laddus and a variety of other types of sweetmeats and salty savouries like samosa, chanachur, gathia papri and so on. It has NO wheelchair access. One has to climb about ten or fifteen steps to get into the shop. Definitely...
