Aangan Cafe — Restaurant in Punjab

I recently visited Aangan Cafe located inside Hans Raj Indoor Stadium, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. The outdoor setup is beautifully built and well-maintained, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. I also appreciated the standing heaters they provided, which were a great touch for the winter.

The service was generally good, but I faced some issues with my order. I had ordered Paneer Butter Tikka Masala, but what I received was not what I expected. Initially, I was served a different paneer dish with gravy, and when I pointed out the mistake, the staff insisted it was the same. After some discussion, they attempted to correct it, but unfortunately, the replacement dish didn't taste like the Paneer Butter Tikka Masala I was hoping for.

I also tried the Mushroom Do-Payaza, and while the gravy was perfect, the mushrooms were undercooked, which was disappointing.

One more thing to note is that they charge close to Rs. 100/- for a bottle of mineral water. It would be nice if they offered more recognizable brands like Kinley or Bisleri instead on genuine price.

Overall, Aangan Cafe has potential with its ambiance and service, but there are definitely areas that need improvement in terms of food quality and...

The cafe is really good in terms of its ambience and it's food. I ordered three different items, Vada pav, veg dim sums and panner tikka. All the food items tasted really good with proper mix of spices and elements required. I found the quantity of vada pav to be quite less as they had cut the pav into two halves, so we basically were served 1.5 pavs in total. The dim sums and paneer tikka were upto the mark for sure in presentation and the taste as well. The ambience is quite nice for a peaceful, calm evening in natural air. The sitting of the cafe is quite good as well. I can't say what it's like in the scorching Jalandhar summers but it's definitely a must visit during the pleasant weather of November- December. Worst cafe i have ever go through in my life…. Really bad service specially the waiter who take order i have wait for 1 hour n not even the single item of my order comes even by asking again n again where is my order they said only 2 mins and that 2 mins goes upto one hour and till one hour they not even placed order for cooking shameful service they only serve soup after one hour and when we ask for other order they said it comes in 2 mins there 2 mins tanterm again starts…at last after 1.5 hour wait we all leave without eating anything….and for compensation they make our soup free but if we are going to so called WORST CAFE we are capable to pay also n we pay for soup in that hopeless cafe…I recommend others if u want that service...
