Amar Fish — Restaurant in Punjab

Went there after reading so many reviews about the place. The localites love this place, i guess. There is no seating as such, you either order to your car or you can stand and munch the fish. As I hail from coastal part, I could feel the staleness of fish in the very first bite but the owner was honest to confess that the fish are not bred anywhere around and are shipped from Gangetic basins and deep frozen for months. A lesson for me, the famous Amritsari fish fry has fish coming in from out of Amritsar ( even out from Punjab). Its ridiculously over priced considering its storage and limted supply i guess. GOOD: They serve you in a paper board tray in your Car which i like the most about them
