BluSalzz Residence Amritsar — Hotel in Punjab

I recently stayed at Bluslazz Residency and had a mixed experience.

The ambience was pleasant, and the rooms were very clean. The facilities inside the room were impressive – a comfortable bed, freezer, smart TV, and locker, which added to the convenience. However, one major drawback was that the rooms didn’t have windows, which gave a feeling of suffocation.

Another point of concern was the lack of complimentary toiletries and dental kits. Guests are provided only with common-use shampoo and shower gel, which felt inconvenient compared to the standards expected at this level of accommodation.

On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent – with multiple varieties and delicious taste. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The indoor dining, however, was overpriced, but the good thing is that there are several restaurants within a 15–20 minute walking distance, offering decent alternatives.

Overall: ✔️ Pros – Good ambience, clean rooms, great breakfast, convenient facilities, and decent location. ❌ Cons – Windowless rooms (feel suffocating), no free toiletries/dental care, and costly indoor dining.

I did not expect Punjab to have a luxury hotel like this, but wow this hotel exceeded all my expectations! From the process of booking a room last minute, to checking out every single thing was easy and well done. The ENTIRE staff went above and beyond. The front desk individuals ensured that we were taken care of. Most important factor for me was the cleanliness and I am very impressed. I came from America so my expectations were a bit higher than others maybe, but this place was perfect! Not only was service great, but the rooms were clean and sheets! The room is designed nicely as well. Very comfortable and spacious. The food was delicious as well! French fries were hot and fresh and the chicken biryani wow, I wish I could take some back home! This hotel provides bottled water which was a plus for me. The location is also a developing area and there’s a nearby coffee shop which I enjoyed! I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling from outside of India!

This Hotel appears to be a new property located in a residential peaceful area. Big markets nearby. Open car parking available in front of the hotel. Golden temple is 4kms away from the hotel and takes 15mins to reach with normal traffic. Ola Uber cabs available here but Uber cabs are more frequent. Rooms are clean, big and lighted. The bed in executive room is big enough to accommodate 2 adults with 1 kid comfortably. It's a big bed. Good hospitality of the stuffs. Stuffs are very friendly, well-behaved and helpful. The best part is they allow you to bring food from outside by Swiggy/Zomato, only u have to collect it from reception. They provide cutlery for food. The attached restaurant in the 1st floor has good ambience. Food is very tasty. Usually Breakfast is complementary. But one must check it while booking. Breakfast has only 3-4 varieties of food items but all are tasty. They serve dosa on demand. However food is costly here. Like 1 plate khichdi is rs 419. But very tasty. Service is also good but delayed at times. So I prefer giving them 4.5 marks for our overall stay of 2days...
