Bhaj Govindam — Restaurant in Punjab

I have visited there after 10 years. Now place have been changed. They have moved in large space are in same row just 4 years ago. Now prices of thali have been increased. Anyone can enjoy special thali there in just arround 105. Tax will be added if you will ask for bill. As I were visited there on Saturday for lunch so, there was black channa, alu beans veg with kheer and pudina raita. Tase was as it is before 10 years. They served one bowl rice with 4 Chapati. Thali was sufficient for a person. Some Bhagwat mantra were running in background. It was very nice environment for lunch...

Best place for homely food. Recently they have shifted to nearby shop which is bigger than previous. Here are some pros and cons about this place. Positives:-

1. Good food quality
2. Hygienic place
3. Restaurant ambience is good
4. Good for people who live away from home for regular food.
5. Ample parking space available

Negatives:-

1. Sharing not allowed - so chances of food wastage are there
2. No Lift, only stairs for entry - so wheelchair entry not possible (for handicapped people)
3. Only full Thali is served

Good place, good food but POOR service. Experienced yesterday, Sunday night near by 9:45 pm along with family & kids. Waiter saying to order all things once only and not to call repeatedly , basic things like spoons, tissues & water were served on repeated calling. We had 4 special thallis & extra 3 roti along with extra yellow dal & mix veg (Sunday's Menu) & on asking Final bill amount of Rs. 445 was verbally. No details were given for bill.
