βοΈπππππ βοΈ I hope - Google should introduce Negative Star Rating also just after visiting this restaurant. No doubt a good ambience always provides good food with supportive staff and this proved at FIRANGI DHABHA.
Being a tourist, we werenβt aware how pathetic this restaurant would be. On reaching this place, we find there were few sofa seating, others were chair seating. The restaurant was complete empty, there was not a single customer at any table. Since, myself came along with my family with one year son - so we requested to give us sofa seating so that our son sits comfortably but they refused us, informing that all sofas are reserved. We said OK. Then we sat as per their suggested seat and asked for menu. One of the staff came and gave us. After reading, i asked him to brief me about their 2-3 dishes as the names were quite new and unique to us. He said i m not aware about the menu in detail, then he sent Miss Ritu. She came and we again ask same question to brief us about the details of dishes mentioned in your menu.
She said this is snack, this is starter, i asked what ingredients do have in this ? She rudely said all. I said what all. She again behave rudely and said all. I felt a complete uneducated, unaware staff.
Then we gave order and waited for almost 45 mins, in between we checked 3-4 times but all staff was clueless about the status of order. Miss Ritu again misbehaved and ignored us when we asked why a single order is not delivered till now. Even we ordered for raita. She again ignored us.
Finally, we asked them to bill and cancel our order, they denied. Then we asked to parcel our ordered and bill us. The order came after 1 hr 10 mins. They overcharged us,, dishes were overpriced. We charged for 3200rs without eating any single dish. What a mess, never ever got such a pathetic experience. Staff was again making excuses that it was our first dayβ¦how every staff is having first day? They were clearly lying. So, key facts about our visit :

Its so beautiful place, nice ambience, very kind and polite staff, tasty delicious food at an affordable price... this place is probably one of the best for food in Amritsar, Hospitable Hosts wonderful dishes and beautiful presentation...The staff knows what they are doing. i would surely be going here again... Β Β Β Read moreSo i went to this place sometime in evening and they had 1+1 offer running on drinks. So i ordered 2 drinks and while billing they charged me for both. On enquiry they told me about their weird policy where instead of having the usual and common policy of having lower priced drink as free, they were having a weird and illogical policy which says thay 1+1 is applicable only if both the drinks are same π even if that is priced higher. In essence they have were ready to give me a Rs 400 drink free but not the Rs 300 drink that i had ordered.ππππ. AND THIS WEIRD AND ILLOGICAL POLICY IS NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE. The waiter would just take your order and inform you about this policy while billing. While the food was good, 1 * for this non sense and ILLOGICAL policy and inability of the manager to do...
