Four Folks Delivery — Restaurant in Punjab

Had to visit this place twice in a row because during the first visit i did not get a chance to taste their coffee. So in this review i will be expressing jointly about both the experiences as both took place in last two days. Ordered Hummus Beh Chicken, Orange Grilled Chicken Salad, Chicken Alfredo Pizza and double shot cappuccino.

Ambience - Though it's a bakery but it's seating is on the lines of a fine dine restaurant. It's neat and clean with appropriate table placing. Although they need to work on a more effective cutlery, overall ambience is elegant. Music was essentially instrumental not necessarily English, that being one of the strengths.

Hospitality - Had a mixed response as some of the staff looked more professional and welcoming than others. Some problem was also faced while availing discount offered through Dineout.

Preparation & taste - All the dishes except coffee were properly cooked and tasted above average. Chicken was fresh but not juicy enough. Hummus was pretty fine and so was pita bread. Orange chicken salad was pretty good and a nice change. It's recipe is rather new especially the way pieces of oranges that were put in it. Pizza was thin crust and different in taste. It was neither too spicy nor bland. In fact pizza tasted better without seasoning and red chilli flakes, which does not happen quite often. Double shot coffee was somewhat below average. Double shot served in a small cup is rare because without adding another small quantity of milk, a double shot of coffee would only make it bitter instead of tasty. Plus coffee was less aromatic.

Quantity - Eatable items are served in below average sized bowls. So for two people you have to order...

I have ordered from this restaurant more than a dozen times and every time the food is of the highest quality. The food is fresh, never put together in a lazy way, and it’s cooked to absolute perfection. From the pizza, entrees, and appetizers there is nothing on the menu that isn’t divine!

Unfortunately I’ve never had the pleasure to eat in the restaurant as I came from America just before the virus and only discovered this gem after lockdown.

I always had ordered on zomato, until I learned I could order through WhatsApp which is suuuppper convenient. I don’t even have to call. I just shoot a text and they get back with me right away. They are extremely friendly, and quick. They’re fluent in English so if you’re an English speaker don’t be shy. I know how intimidating it is to reach out when you’re not sure if you can communicate.

When you get delivery they send the food in sealed packages. No chance of leaking or popping open. I love to order hummus for later because I can just put it in the fridge and with it sealed it stays fresh! They always label everything and even add cute notes with the meal. Sometimes they throw in a free bakery item or a little piece of chocolate.

The place has a very soothing vibe. The decor is very quirky and not too crowded. Lighting is bright without being harsh. Two levels of seating- Ground floor and basement. The music also matched the decor; it was fresh and upbeat without being overwhelming. The serving staff are polite and friendly. I normally eat out solo and read a book while eating but here I just sat back, unwound and enjoyed. I did not feel like reading or checking social media.

I found whatever food and beverages I sampled to be perfectly prepared and seasoned.The flavours of my arrabiata were well balanced, which I find very rare. The cookies with the coffe were a cute touch too. The portion sizes are quite big for solo diners. So you literally get your money's worth in quantity as well as quality. I feel that this place might end up being a favourite hangout had I not been living so far away. Regardless, I will be back to sample more of that delicious food.
