The Iconic Friend's Dhaba of Ludhiana folks. 100% vegetarian (not vegan).Very near the Railway Station (walking max 5 mins). Famous for Kali Dal Tadka & Prantha. Shudh Desi Ghee is used here. And for all lover's of Maa Ki Dal Tadka with Paranthas this is one u cannot miss. Also on the menu is Shahi Paneer, Baingan Ka Bhartha, Mixed Vegetable, Cheese Tomato & a host of other things but the most ordered dishes are the ones I have stated. Not cheap, not expensive, in the medium range. Opens near Lunch Time, 12'O'Clock & closing time around 11:30pm. But best to come around 8pm if you don't want to wait for seating. On weekends dinner time the waiting time can be 20 to 30 minutes & you really hv to stand outside, or wait in yr nearby parked car. A Very Huge Commercial Complex is coming up just opposite the dhaba but it's still a couple of years before it will be operational. Good place to bring family but don't expect any ambience. No doubts about maintaining the old flavors & legacy since years..but this review is simply about the attitude and service.. not quality.

Sorry to say was sad to see how sometimes good brands once at its peak.. forget that how you suppose to greet and treat clients.. just a simple smile and warm welcome can make client feel comfortable.

But sorry to say.. personally I felt the counter staff people are least bothered about the same. Either u are taking ..take away or dining... The atmosphere makes u feel that we are just treating u... That's ur choice.. else we have alot guest alredy waiting.. ..

Top to bottom.. from counter.. packing.. even the gate keeper.. hats off how they handle the rush wid harsh and pathetic attitude.
