25th May 2025 - Horrendous experience being stuck at this KFC at dinner time. Ordered rice bowls which took a decade to come and that too not with the appropriate quality and taste. We ordered at around 10.21 pm and the automated confirmation said the food will be delivered in 7 mins … The agonising thing happened that we kept asking for the food as we had children 2 kids and 1 eleven months baby with three grown ups who were starving like hell .. The food eventually came at 11.05 pm and the audacity of the staff that while we started eating they switched off the lights too .. saying that this is automated … Now tell me is this the service that KFC provides ?? Where is the brand value, ethics and yes the delivery time is pathetic too …. They kept saying that the food- rice is being cooked and will take 10mins , then 15 mins and eventually they said again 10 mins … I mean we asked for a refund and cancellation too but they said it is not possible .. Is it so ?? If you are not able to deliver the service in the promised time which your automated message says then there should be atleast a way to give us the refund .. I recently visited KFC, SCO 8 & 9, Block A, Nirwana Square One, Chandigarh Ropar Road, Khanpur, Kharar, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Punjab 140301, and unfortunately, it turned out to be one of my worst experiences.
After placing the order, the confirmation message showed a waiting time of just 7 minutes, but I ended up waiting for more than 20 minutes. I had to approach the reception multiple times, and even then, the staff seemed indifferent. I stood there for over 5 minutes before they finally started preparing my meal, and that too only after repeatedly asking about my order.
The service was disappointing, and the staff behavior was unprofessional. To make things worse, when I finally received my food, it was not served hot. The fries, burger, and roll were all cold, as if they had either been left out for too long or not reheated properly.
I have visited KFC Sector 35 Chandigarh many times, but I never faced such a poor experience there. The difference in service and food quality between the two outlets is very clear.

I usually enjoy visiting KFC, but my recent experience at this location was disappointing due to the behavior of the counter staff. A lady named Neeraj with 3 star tattoo on left hand was extremely rude and unprofessional while taking orders. She didn’t greet properly, avoided basic courtesy, and was unwilling to explain the order when asked for clarification. It’s important for front-facing staff to communicate respectfully with customers. This review is not against KFC as a brand, but strictly about the poor attitude and lack of customer service from this particular staff member.
