Well, I would be very much honest with this review and my experience which was not at all good.
Me along with my wife and baby on the occasion of our Anniversary visited here for dinner.
My wife ordered Cigar Rolls (A fried round shaped rolls filled with cheese and other stuffing).
On a very first bite of it, my wife and me felt it has rotten cheese. It was literally stale and I can take 100% guarantee of it.
I called the waiter and complained about it. He was so unprofessional that instead of looking into the matter he said, it is because you left for the washroom for cleaning our baby and meanwhile the rolls were prepared. 🤣
Is this a joke or something? Then I told him to have one piece and tell me if the cheese is statle and Smelly?
Now, he took away our food and came back with another excuse. Listen
Waiter - Sir, the chef is saying it's tasting odd because there are 4 types of cheese and maybe that would be tasting like this. 😂😂
He was not even able to handle this case. Was throwing excuses.
Then I said, is this possible to order something else instead of this? Then he replied,
Waiter - I will request the Chef if it is possible.
Okay. We waited. Our excitement and tatse buds were already ruined by the way. 😐
Again the waiter came and said,
Waiter: Sir the chef is saying that these Rolls contain Jalapenos. That's why they are sour. 🤦
He was thinking that it's our first time eating these fancy foods. Before this day, we were living in forests and eating only grass and raw vegetables.😡
They didn't have courtesy to call their senior manager or someone who could handle this situation because better. 🙅
My wife called him and said, we don't want anything. Please give is the bill and we want to pay. 📃
The rolls coated Rs. 399 + taxes. We paid the total of Rs. 377 to them for that stale food.
So Below are my suggestions as a good friend of you,
I didn't find and responsible person there, who could be handling these situations well. 🧏
By taking the shelter of their big name, they could serve any stale food with even thinking twice.
They wouldn't even have courtesy to replace the dish for customer's satisfaction and long term relationship.
Although the price point could be subjective but I really feel they are very overly priced. A simple malai chaap costs you Rs. 549 + taxes. 👎
If you have read it till now, thank you so much for your time. May God bless you with super delicious...
Read moreA bad experience at Swagath kharar. I thought it would have similar experience as Chandigarh but nothing close to it. No air conditioning. There were fans like in a Dhaba and reason given was AC not functional. Then why they were entertaining guests. Expensive food but no care for guest needs. There were flies all in the dining hall amd none of the staff was interested to attend to the problem.
Also the families sitting behind us were making toooo much noise. Kids were just creating a mess. But again the staff did not bother to request them to maintain decorum even on our request.
And a must mention. The content being played on their TV should be reviewed. Nat Geo type program where videos of animals killing each other or mating were shown. Is this a fine dine restaurant for. I don't think the management is serious about quality of these outlets. Just opening more and more outlets does not add value.
Only good thing was food quality which brand swagath stands for.
Though i am a regular visitor to Swagath Chandigarh 26 but I would not visit Swagath Kharar again. When asked to compensate for the bad experience they just offered 10% discount on the exorbitant prices...
