KOCHI EXPRESS & QUBA BANQUETS ludhiana — Restaurant in Punjab

Today I have visited "Kochi Express".I must say that it is the only restaurant of its kind.I would like to write in detail that why one must visit this restaurant. 1.They have great ambiance and infrastructure with kerla touch in it. 2.Staff, specially Mr. Arvind, has diluted hotel management skills in water and drunk it. 3.Quick service 4.People who really like to try different cuisines should definitely go there.As they have different manu for every single day in very reasonable price,which suits everyone's pocket. 5.Had a word with chef, from where I have come to know that they get all their ingredients from kerala which is the secret of their kerla touch preparations blended with Punjabi taste.

Suggestions :- Owner could set up her office on any floor but setting it on ground floor has decreased the space for restaurant. As they are trending, So, on weekends people will have to wait for long hours for their turn to come.Which would make them earn so much negative rating.Hence, I believe if they are not having their halls booked then halls should be set up with dinner tables and light music.People would love this initiative.

Personal observation :-

I was going through all the reviews before putting mine and I have personally observed that Owner of Kochi Express personally revert all the reviews. I feel so happy to see the dedication of an owner to satisfy each and every guest.Keep doing the good work "Kochi Express and team".

Lastly I would like to say that after being so happy from their hospitality I have booked the Quba hall for my 10 months daughter's birthday.I couldn't ask for more from their side.

It was our first visit at Kochi Express & the experience was more than beautiful. I will definitely suggest my friends & near ones to try it for sure as the unique thing about it was the first SOUTH INDIAN BUFFET that serves all kind of SOUTH INDIAN SNACKS instead of a regular South Indian Meal which is usually served all over SOUTH INDIA from HYDERABAD to KANYAKUMARI. Beautiful atmosphere & well decorated & well dressed decent staff, always ready to welcome you with a heartly NAMASKARAM powering up with a broad smile. Taste is a bit manipulated according to punjabi tongues, as the spices are little low (like ASAFOETIDA & BLACK PEPPERS) comparative to the real South Indian Belt which could be little difficult to get digested by some local customers of Ludhiana. But, overall that's a major positive point of their creativity. Almost the style & taste was a mix-match of Malabari+Mangalorian+Udipi which can be easily predicted by someone who has travelled the whole nation. IDLI DOSA haters have a very nice & good option of the typical PUNJABI food with extra power of some snacks in starters. 349+ per person for Buffet is quite a reasonable price in city like Ludhiana where FOOD is just COSTLY & COSTLY everywhere without any reason or speciality. The overall experience at this place was great with good food n reasonably good service... However the place feels crowded due to compact seating arrangements n especially on weekends it becomes too crowded n noisy as well. We tried their standard buffet priced at ₹455/- per head including GST n honestly the quantity as well as quality of the food was superb to say the least. We were served a variety of South Indian n North Indian dishes including dahi vada, paneer dosa, sambhar vada, manchurian, veg cocktail kababs, paneer tikka as snacks n of course we could ask for as much quantity as we wished. After that the main course included daal makhani, kadahi paneer n mixed veg as dishes and a variety of 2-3 Indian breads. Sweet dish had the choice of pineapple sheera n ice cream n one glass of cold drink per person too was included in the buffet dinner. Definitely the quantity was way more than what anyone could finish n staff was courteous enough to refill your plates with whatever you wished.
