Outlet – Urgent Staff Conduct Issue

Dear Belgian Waffle Co. Team,

As a regular customer who genuinely enjoys your waffles, it pains me to share what has been not just one, but now two deeply disappointing experiences at one of your outlets.

Firstly, the behavior of your staff at this location is consistently unprofessional. The tall gentleman who seems to be the manager is often seen yelling at the staff—even when there is a long queue of customers waiting. While I’ve tried to ignore this on past visits, what happened last night around 11:45 PM was completely unacceptable.

The outlet was busy, and during a power cut, a very disturbing incident occurred. Two female staff members—one of them named Aarti, who was preparing orders—got into a loud verbal argument right in front of customers. The argument escalated with yelling, unprofessional behavior, and inappropriate language. The other female staff member, who was handling the orders, was equally rude throughout the process.

I’m shocked that such conduct is tolerated in your establishment. Is this really the standard of training and professionalism your brand stands for? As a customer, it’s frustrating and disappointing to witness this kind of chaos and disrespectful behavior, especially at a brand I once held in high regard.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and appropriate steps are taken to improve the customer experience at this outlet. Your product deserves better representation than what is currently being shown by this team.

I've been to the place today and I've had awful experience. I placed my order for take away and I was charged 270 as per the reflected price which I paid there and then. After waiting for the order to be packed the store represetative told me to pay ₹10 extra for take away. I would like to add that I have been to a lot of cafes and renowned restaurants and I have never been charged extra for take away. This is the worse experience I have ever had and worse service you could privide to your customer. Also the place in Mohali is a small one and was extremely suffocating to sit inside in this scorching heat obviously I would not sit inside in the mid noon. Secondly, If I was to pay an extra amount, I should have been informed the same whilr placing the order why I was asked for it when I went inside to collect my order? The other concern I have is the pirtion size of the waffle and ice-crea. The waffle was over-priced for the size it was served and obviously I know when you order ice-cream along with waffle you have to pay extra however, the ice-cream that was packed was literally half scoop which I belive did not justify the amount I paid overall. I have had waflles before as well this wasn't my first but I am sure having it from The Beligian Waffle co was first and the last and would not recommend it any one...

Great place with great waffles! The day I went, they had some newly launched sundae waffles which were so pocket friendly that I couldn’t resist myself from having them. So I took Lotus biscoff which was sooo yum when served with banana & vanilla ice cream. Just couldn’t have had anything better. Then the other one was choco truffle which was also delicious until you are in full mood to have something chocolatey because it was loaded with chocolate ice cream and was way too chocolatey.
