Extremely poor customer service & Pathetic Staff . So this Incident happened yesterday night when I went to order my son’s birthday cake . Must mention that it was my 3rd consecutive year for ordering cake from this bakery . Earlier we were very warmly treated by the Owner. This time , to our bad , the owner wasn’t there but a female staff was . To every design that we showed , that girl have a negative reply with no input of hers . That’s still okay !!!!! We asked her to call the chef to which she replied that his shift is over . Alright !!!! We still took almost 45 min to come up with a design to which she very confidently agreed will be done & I confirmed from her almost 10 times as I was dint want last minute goof ups on my son’s bday . She assured me that I will get exact design in 1.5 kg . We made the full payment & came out of the shop . While we were almost home , we got a call from the Chef saying that the design that we ordered is not possible to made in 1.5 kg . Either we should pay more or he can come to our house to give money after his shift( By the way the girl told me that chef isn’t available) . I asked for owners number but he din give me & said okay he will make the cake but that would not look good . He got me speaking to his manager who constantly was telling me that he can’t get me talking to the owner & he can’t even give me any solution to the problems
So now I have few questions to Mr owner :-
• 1st of all why did your staff lie that chef wasn’t available while he was there in the shop • Does time & emotion & money of a customer has no value . This was about my son’s birthday. We spent almost 3000 for a cake & almost 45 min in your shop
• While confining the order , your staff assured us on literally asking 10 times that we will get exact cake design . While we wanted only 1 kg cake . She told us get 1.5 kh to which we agreed .
• Once you have committed & taken the money & agreed to pay the service does it not become your responsibility to give best service to consumer.
• Do you have any mechanism where a grievance can directly be taken to the consumer . Your staff straightaway denied to help .
•our money is still lying with u , m sure you would happily refund but the experience that we got is actually soooo bad . We were so confident about your services that we from past 3 years we chose no one else but your bakery for our most special occasion.
• Way forward we are not going to come to this place & m sure with this service even...

Shake Shake, It's a Disaster: The shake we ordered was a complete letdown. The taste was off-putting, and the consistency was far from desirable. It was a real disappointment, especially considering the high standards set by the bakery items.
Overall:
While Il Forno Mohali undoubtedly excels in its bakery offerings, the main course and beverage options need significant improvement. It's a shame that such a promising establishment couldn't deliver a consistently positive dining experience.

I would like to express my concern regarding the service and food handling at your cafeteria. Recently, I recently visited 23.08.2025. Ordered a veg pizza Panner pizza and after some time the waiter came with pizza and we started eating pizza suddenly I notice about the chunk , and it was chicken ,ordered veg pizza got non veg - This is an extremely serious matter, as many customers follow strict dietary and religious practices, and such errors deeply hurt sentiments and trust.
In addition, the service quality requires immediate attention. Waiters were seen writing orders on their hands instead of using proper notepads, which reflects poorly on the professionalism of your staff and increases the risk of mistakes.
